Fourteen: take risks

I instantly jump out of bed to the fore being trows off the hinges. It's way to early for this. I see a raging Dylan ready to kill. I raise and eyebrow and watch him stop in and slams something on the table. I look at what he set down and it was pot. I go wide eyed. He gets high and, wait are you fudging serious right now. He was high with my son. Oh now I'm mad.

I stand up and I went to punch him in the face but he grabs my wrist before I can break his jaw. "Mommy." We both look over to see an awake Jason rubbing his eyes. "We will talk about this at home." I say grabbing my bag and then J.C.

The car was silent but it was a very deadly silence. If the air could kill we would be sliced in half because it's sharp. We're both on thin ice. When we get to the house it's perfect because John is there waiting for us. I walk up to him and hand him J.C. I nod at him and let my eyes speak. He nods back and leaves with J.C .

We get into the house and right when the door closes I burst into flames. "YOU WERE FUCKING HIGH." I scream at the top of my lungs. "That's why I was acting like that. I get high when I get stressed and seeing the snows again stress me. I wasn't even near J.C so don't panic." He says walking into the kitchen.

"So when your high you don't think." I say crossing my arms. "Yes my mouth gets the better of me." He says sighing. "Okay." I say going into the kitchen making some tea. "So we're good. You can tell John to bring J.C home." He says. I set my tea down and look at him. "No yet." I say taking sip.

"What why." He asked confused. God I love his confused face especially when he's think about something. I like my lips just think about it and a light bulb turned on in my head. "I always wanted to get high once in my life and never did." I say and I see amusement in his eyes. "Really?" He says coming over to me. "Yup" I say popping the 'p'.

Right now me and Dylan are sitting in the living room. "Are you sure you want to do this." He asks for the millionth time. "Yes Dylan I already told you it's just once." I say. "Ok but I'm not because someone has to babysit." He says making he joint. He lights it and hands it to me. I look at it like I'm inspecting it. I sigh and take a long drag. I blow out the smoke and take it all in.

Dylan's .POV.

She's high, like really high right now. "Alexis get off of the counter." I say as she's walking on the counter like its a balance beam. She sighs. "Ok Sam." She says jumping off the counter. Sam? Who the hell is Sam. I swear if it's another lover there will be blood on my hands soon. I put that in the back of my mind right now because someone knocks on the door.

I go to the door to see John with Jason. "He wants him mom." John says handing me Jason. "Dad!" He yells and I put on a smile and set him down. I look back up at John and I know he's looking for his answer. "We're good." I say and he nods then leaves.

I close the door and turn around to see Alexis and Jason running around the house with blanket capes. I walk to the kitchen really quick but that doesn't last long when I hear J.C. "Go mom go!" I run into the living room to see Alexis sitting on a pipe.

"How in the hell did you get up there." I yell looking up at Alexis who is pretending that her fingers are people. "She climbed like Spider-Man dad!" J.C yells. "J.C go to your room please." I say and he nods then runs down the hall. "Alexis get your ass down here." I say and she looks at me then looks around at her surrounding. "I can't." She says scratching her head.

"Why do you mean you can't. If you go up then you can get down." I say and I see her furrowing her eyebrows. "I can't." She says looking at me. "Okay jump." I say putting my arms out. "I will get hurt." She says pouting. "I'll catch you." I say getting tired of holding my arms out. "Promise." "Promise now come on." "Okay" she says then jumps. I wasn't ready for that but I did catch her. I fell and my back hit the ground from the unexpected jump with Alex straddling me.

"Dylan when did you get here." She says looking surprised. "I always been here." I say putting my hands around her waist. "Really but I thought- never mind." She says. "Okay." I say back cocking my head to the side looking up at her.

"Can I tell you a secret Sam." She whispers and I nod. Great she thinks I'm This sam again. "I think it's hot when he's a great dad to J.C. I think I might love him. I love you Sam." She says then jumps off of me. Did, wait what? She said that she MIGHT LOVE me. She doesn't know but she thinks. I'm the father of her child not this Sam guy. Wait until she wakes up tomorrow because she's getting it.

"DAD! MOM SAYS THAT SHE CAN FLY." J.C yells from the bedroom and that's were I run. Great she's hanging from the ceiling fan. "I like mommy like This." J.C says jumping on the bed giggling.

After an hour of running around I got J.C and Alex a bath and I put him to bed. He fell asleep right after his bath. I'll keep that in mind for now on. And yes I also gave Alex a bath and I did get a hard on from seeing her naked but I contained myself.

She's still awake but I did get her in the bed. I tucked her in and I got up to leave but she grabs my arm. "Please don't leave us again." She says pulling back into the bed. "I'm not leaving." I say getting into the bed.  "Your never getting high again." I say looking at her. She smiles and looks at me.
