The cold was bitter and seeping through my ripped jacket. Rubbing my hands together wasn't helping much. People stared with pity, not that I gave a shit. I stood inside a small shop and waited until it closed. By then the snow was falling heavily and the wind had picked up. It froze my small body straight to the bone. My body shook so bad I couldn't walk straight.

No other shops seemed to be open so I just kept walking. Someone will find my frozen body eventually.

Just as I was about to give up I hear music coming from a building. Thank fucking God.

It was a small bar and restaurant but it was warm. I stumble in and find a table in the back corner. My hair dripped and my hands and face got some feeling back. Nothing could be done about the constant shaking. It was a mix of cold and anxiety.

A waiter asks my order but I shake my head, I didn't have any money.I put my head down, a cup of coffee is set in front of me. I look up at the waiter from before, this time getting a better look at him. He had warm kind brown eyes and a cute smile.

"It's on the house."

"Thank you." I whisper, my voice hoarse.

I take a sip, the warmth spreading through my body. My eyes slip shut. It was so warm.

Really short but tell me what you think so far. I'll update soon.
