Chapter 6:Into The Portal

"so are we ready?" Angela asked standing in front of the portal.

"yeah!!" everyone said.

So we all stepped through and the first thing we saw....

There was a girl held to the wall with a stone structure.

We all just stood there, shocked by what we saw around us.

"hmph, so you've finally come to find me."

"you don't have to do this abbi" Lucy said

"yeah you're right, I don't have to do this, but that's not going to stop me." abbi replied

"abbi, Sophie has no part in this so please, just let her go." Lucy said looking at the girl at the back of the room

"sorry but I can't do that, she's the only thing keeping this place stable."

Lucy and abbi start fighting and the rest of us go to free Sophie.

We managed to free Sophie and then Lucy and abbi stopped fighting.

"no!" abbi shouted

"you idiot!!!"

"she was the only thing keeping this place from collapsing!!"

"we need to get out of here now abbi" zoey said confidently

"no. If this place is collapsing I'm going to take the world and all of you with me."abbi shouted back.

We all ran to the portal and then realised that jess had stopped.

"everybody go, I'll stay and hold her off."

"no, jess I'm not leaving you here." I said.

"you can't stay here Ben,you have a world to go back to."

I looked deep into her eyes and pulled her close to me.

"for me, there is no world without you."

I stayed with her while everybody left as the world inside the portal collapsed.

Jess kept everything stable enough for everyone to escape.

Then there was a bright light and I heard a familiar voice.

"hey I think he's waking up."

Then I saw everyone sitting around me.

"W-where am I" I asked

"your in hospital." Emma said

"why am I in hospital?"

"you don't remember!, you were in an car accident, they had to put you in a coma to keep you alive"

"so how long has it been?" I asked

"it's been about 3 years."

"did you dream about anything?"

"yeah I did."

Then I spent the next few hours explaining everything that happened.

So it was all a dream and then after that life, well my real life went just about back to normal.
