Crushes and set up dates

ruby's pov:

today is a couple days after jj and molly have gotten married and i am so happy for them, and for some weird reason i feel proud. it is hard to describe the amount of joy that has found its way to myself since i have met my best friend's and the sidemen, well all of them are now my best friends but i mean the girls. nothing but good has happened since i have known them and i am so thankful for them.

right now i am sat inside toby's flat along with simon, ethan, harry, josh, vik, angel, lucy and kelly. simon and angel are sat on the sofa and are both playing with baby liv. she is so adorable with her gorgeous blue eyes, light blonde hair and perfect smile. she sort of makes me want to have her cousin soon but that is not happening becasue for that i have to be in a relationship and since i am not, there's no way i am having one of those little bundles of joy; well i am not having one yet anyway.

i go over to where they are sat and i look down to liv, she looks up at me and grins with her gums showing. god she is just the cutest internet baby ever! i do not care about any body else's opinions becasue i just know she is the most amazing baby in the world right now.

' hey liv' i say and wave to her. she smiles at me more then she bury's her face into angels arm. ' and hey angel and hey simon.' i say with a chuckle. ' hey ruby, what's up?' angel asks me as i sit down next to her. ' nothing much, just came over to say you guys make such a cute family. you do not know how lucky you guys are. seriously you are the internet couple right now and everybody wants to be you. god i am a little jealous not going to lie.' i say then rest my head on my hand.

' awe ruby thank you.' angle says and hugs me but simon gives me a curious look. ' what?' i ask and lift my head slightly. ' well in my opinion i think the reason you feel like this is becasue secretly this is what you want. a family. I mean not necessarily exactly what we have but I think you just want to have something like this, for instance maybe a relationship?' Simon answers With a smug look on his face. Oh right sorry I forgot Simon knew exactly everything about me and knows what I want and how I feel.... Oh wait news flash he doesn't so why on earth is he trying to say I want this. I mean yeah I am a human after all and I do strive for love but to be told this by Simon of all people just sort of angers me and I am not to sure why.

' Simon listen I know you think you are some sort of life guru now you have a child with my sister but no, your not. So if you would not mind but please but out of my relationship life and stop thinking you know exactly everything about me and what I want because your wrong okay!' I say in an aspirated tone and Simon leans back into the sofa with one eye brow raised. ' listen I am sorry. I just thought that maybe you wanted a relationship that's all. If you do I know somebody that's single right-' Simon says but before he can finish his sentence I cut him off. ' okay I accept your apology because I admit I went a bit crazy then but the one thing I do not need is your blind date set ups thank you very much. ' I say and before he could answer I stand up and walk over to where Ethan, Toby are both sat.

' hey ruby. What's up?' Toby asks as I sit down onto one of the stools that are scattered around the kitchen island.

' nothing much, what about you. What are you guys talking about?' I ask and they awkwardly shift on their seats. God what is wrong with them?
' we were talking about... Molly and jj. Yeah how we can't wait for them to get back.' Ethan says which makes me suspicious. No way are they exited. They literally could not wait so that they did not have to put up with their lovey dovey bullshit all the time. They are a obviously lying. But why?

I start coughing and Toby pats me on the back. ' you okay there?' He asks still patting my back. I straighten up then loom at them both. ' yeah I just think I need some water. It seems I am allergic to bullshit' I say then cross my arms over my chest. They both laugh a bit then look at each other then me again.

' so come on what were you really talking about? Spill!' I demand and Ethan scratches his head before smiling at me then back at Toby then back to me again. Toby's eyes widen and it seems he's about to say something before he's cut off. ' basically what we were talking about is how Toby is looking for a relationship. And then I said that you are single and he is single and that since your good friends it would not be weird if you guys you know... Went on a date or something?' He says and Toby puts his head in his hands.

I blush a little then walk over to Toby. I walk behind him and wrap my arms around him. His head quickly shoots up then he turns around and returns my hug. ' aww Toby you know I would totally go on a date with you. I mean we are good friends, your very attractive and I mean your Toby; cute funny kind sweet and well... Your Toby' I whisper in him ear which I can feel a smile growing on his face.

' well I'll leave you too it then. ' Ethan stated as he walked away from us.

I blush a little as I separate from Toby. Suddenly I feel like a little girl in a playground who has just been told that her crush likes her back. Wait what am I talking about, Toby is not my crush. I do not like him. I mean sure he is very funny and so supportive and he always has time for me and he has beautiful dark I rising eyes and a beautiful body-

Ruby What are you doing? You can't be thinking this right?  I know his is beautiful and such a good friend but do I want to be more than friends?

Oh god is this where all of these feeling have come from suddenly. No there's no way, I don't like Toby. I do not like Toby.

Oh shit, I think I like Toby. I think I want to be more than friends with Toby. Oh double shit. What if he doesn't feel the same way? Oh fucking triple shit!
