Chapter 13

Raph's Pov

I walked to Oki's nook,"Wakey wakey Donnie needs to check you." Oki popped her head out,"Comin." She scrambled to the floor and turned into a snow leopard. She tried to run on three legs but fell on her face. I helped her up. I let her lean on my leg and we walked to the pit. Oki layed on the floor and I layed next to her. Donnie walked in with a new bandage. When Donnie unwrapped it, it was infected, "Oh no." "What?" Oki turned her head around to look at it,"Ugh infections." Oki said laying her head on the ground. Donnie went to grab some antibacteral and antibiotics,"So you've had an infection before?" I asked Oki. "Yup and they friggin hurt." Donnie walked back in and applyed the anti bacteral ointment. Oki tensed up and scruched her nose,"Aghh!" Donnie gave the antibiotic pills to Oki. She plopped one in her mouth and swallowed. Donnie rebandaged it, "Your good to go." She got up and fell back down,"It hurtsss." I helped Oki up to her paws an she heavily leaned on me.

We walked to the couch and she awkwardly jumped up on it, "Raph. You know thoose people that we saved from the Foot? Well that was Hunt and his little sister." I just listened,"So we saved Hunter and his lil' sis. What's wrong with that?" "Hunter doesn't live anywhere else other than the second floor of the Tech Shop." Oki answered. "So what was... Wait what if he's tracking you to see where your going?" I asked. "That's it! That's typical Hunter. Always shoving his nose into my life." Oki said. "So he's done something like that before?" I puzzled. "When I lived in my tree nook I never told him where I lived. So one day he attached a micro tracker to one of the chips I used for my mini ipod. I found it an threw it away. He's smart like that Raph. Donnie!" Oki said smartly. Oki's cute when she's smart... and angry.

Donnie walked into the room,"What's up? Shoulder acting up?" "Scan my electechy. Hunter might be tracking me with another of his micro trackers." Oki slid her ipod over to Donnie with her good arm. She got up and limp ran to the lab. "What the shell is she talking about?" Donnie clearly puzzled. "No talk doofus let's scan it." I answered and followed her to the lab.

Oki's Pov

Donnie scanned my ipod for unknown chips while I explained,"So Hunter my old friend has a little sister and that was the shreiking I heard when the Footclan surrounded them. Well they were in an alley and Hunt has had a past of hunting where I live and go. So he mightv'e pulled that trick off again when I did a repair on my ipod a while back. So that's why he couldv'e been in the alley because he never leaves the Tech Shop unless he's getting food from the store across the street." "Uh huh okay I think I've mightv'e detected a chip that's unknown... but in several places." I looked on the screen. A small network of red dots were all over my ipod,"I can't fix that. I'll need to make a new one." I said saddened. "Hey I think I can remove the memory because that area has no micro chips." Donnie cheered me up. "Well I'll need to swing by a different electronic store than Hunt's." I said.

I slept on the couch that night my shoulder aching. At one point I was so restless I got up and padded to Raph's room,"Raph?" "Yeah Oki?" Raph sat up in his hammock to look at me. "I can't sleep." I limped to his hammock side,"Don't worry you can sleep in here." I climbed in the hammock and gingerly setting my paw on his shell. Laying next to him he draped his arm over my shoulders making sure not to touch my injured one. I licked his face purring. Raph smiled and kissed me,"I love you Raphie." "Me too Oki." He smiled. I curled up my paw still draped over his chest and fell asleep churring throughout the night.

Raph's Pov

Oki started to whimper in the night. I opened an eye a tiny bit and she had a frown on her face and her paws were twitching,"Hey." I said and shook her slightly. She opened her eyes and her claws slid out clinging to my shell. I unstuck her claws,"Bad dream?" Oki nodded closing her eyes,"It was about you guys." She said weakly. "Shhh. It's alright." I started to stroke her head. "Well we were in a building and then Karai took Leo and dragged him toward a cell with a giant door. Then... then a whole bunch of Kraang over powered Donnie and Mikey. Then..... Shredder took you and stuffed you in a cell with two doors.. But the worst of all I was tied up watching you then walked in a ninja. He took of his mask and it w.. wa...was Mark." She snuggled closer to me,"And then he brought you out and he told Shredder to kill you if you tried to make any sudden moves. Then he put a knife up to my neck and told me I must do whatever he wanted me to do. I refused and then you moved and the Shred.. Shredder..." She sobbed into my shell her nose scrunched and her eyes shut tight. "It's alright. I'm still here and you never left. Leo, Don, and Mikey are still asleep. It was a dream." I calmed her down. Oki's sobs became quieter until they stopped. She started to breath softly indicating she fell asleep. I hugged Oki closer and watched her throughout the night protecting her from dreams that would harm her.
