"We're gonna continue with touring." Harry announced. He'd sat everyone down in the living room a while after breakfast so they could figure out what to do together. "That's all we can do for us, right now. That and getting more security."

"What about Lux?" Lou asked quietly. Everyone turned to her. There wasn't really anything they could do about Lux if the note about her being killed if the police became involved was serious.

"We'll figure it out." Harry promised. He knew it was a promise he wouldn't be able to keep, no matter how many times he tried to convince himself he could do something.

"I-I just want my baby back." Lou began to cry, burying her face in her hands. She looked so horribly exhausted. Harry felt beaten.

"I know," Harry sat down next to her, wrapping an arm around her waist. "We can figure something out, okay? We'll do something."

The room was silent for a while other than Lou's faint crying. They all bit their lips and fiddled with their fingers, trying to figure out something to do.

"We can tell your management." Eleanor said eventually. One of her legs was crossed over the other, and she had her hands pressed together on her knee. "They're not the police. We can hire a private investigator or something."

"I honestly doubt he'll do much." Louis pursed his lips. He was leaning his elbows on his knees, one hand holding his head up. "But it's better than nothing."

"We'll tell modest." Harry agreed, still hugging the crying woman tightly. He had a feeling they wouldn't do too much for them.

Harry was right.

"Lux has been taken. We're nearly positive she was taken by the same man who took Niall." Liam said. It was only him and Harry in the room. Louis, Niall, and Zayn were still at home with the girls.

"Why don't you call the police?" James, the head of modest, asked with an eyebrow raised.

"We found this." Liam pulled the note from his back pocket and handed it to James. James looked over it.

"What do you expect me to do, then?" James asked, his eyebrows furrowed. Harry and Liam shared a look.

"We don't know." Liam said. His voice was quiet, now. "To be honest, we thought . . . we just thought you'd think of something."

"You thought wrong." James said harshly. "I can't deal with your problems for you. So if that was all you had to say, leave, because I don't have time for this."

Liam and Harry, frowning, left the room. The two of them just stood silently outside of the closed office door for a while.

"That was rude." Harry said eventually, turning away from the door. "What do we do?"

"We have to go tell the others that our management isn't going to help us." Liam sighed, disappointed. "Poor, poor Lou."

Harry nodded in agreement, and the two of them set off together, hesitant but at the same time eager to get home.

Harry sat down next to Niall, wrapping his arm around the blonde boy. Niall had been sitting on their bed, reading something on his phone.

"Hey babe." Harry pressed a kiss to Niall's cheek, finally gaining Niall's attention.

"Hi." Niall sat up straighter, a hopeful look in his eyes. "How did it go? What did they say?"

"Well," Harry bit his lip for a moment. "It didn't go too great. They're not going to do anything."

Niall's face fell, his eyes showing shock. "They're-they're not gonna do anything?"

"No." Harry sighed. "I can't force them to do anything, either. There's nothing to do."

"But-but Josh-" Niall paused, looking at Harry with wide eyes. "Greg has Josh and Lux, Harry, we have to do something. We-we can't do nothing!"

"We'll do something when we find something we can do." Harry promised. "For now, all we can do is hope and pray that Lux . . . and Josh don't get hurt."

Harry still didn't believe that Josh had actually been taken- he still had his suspicions. But he knew he was probably just being paranoid, and Niall was almost always right anyways. Besides, Josh was their friend. Why would he try to hurt them- Niall, especially?

~ The chapters are quite short and the story is very slow-paced right now, but it will pick up soon, I promise.
