Chapter 3 - Our Little Secret

When Lloyd and Kai went down for dinner Misako was sat at the table waiting for them, "you two sure took your time" she said with a suspicious look on her face. "Y-yeah listen mum we need to tell you something" Lloyd started but Kai could see he was pancaking. "Me and Lloyd are together" Kai quickly cut in to help Lloyd "I just hope that's ok with you" Lloyd said with a very worried look on his face. Misako looked straight at her son and begun to laugh her heart out. "Honey what are you so worried about, of course I'm ok with it. Kai seems like a nice boy and if he makes you happy then I'm happy" she told him with a loving smile on her face, "and don't worry I will tell your father he will be as sweet as a nut. Now dig to your lasagna before it gets cold!" For the rest of the evening there fingeres were intertwined underneath the table.

After dinner Lloyd and Kai went into the living room and sat on the couch, Lloyd snuggled into Kai's chest while slowly falling asleep. "Lloyd as much as I want to sleep as well we cant" Kai chuckled while looking at the blonde as he looked up. "Are you sure" he said in a childish voice which Kai thought was really adorable "yes my mum will get worried if I don't go home soon" the brunet sighed "but don't worry I will see you tomorrow in school!" As they walked to the door Lloyd offered to walk him home but Kai denied and told Lloyd to finish the homework. "It's prity much just rinse and repeat now, it will be fine" Kai assured "ok, I'll see you tomorrow" he said before grabbing Kai and pulling him into a long kiss, Kai was a bit shocked at first but quickly melted into it. Once they pulled apart they each said goodbye and Kai walked out the door.

Time skip to the next morning:

After Misako dropped Lloyd off and waved goodbye he started to walk to the gates where he saw a certain brunet waiting for him. "Hey Lloyd I need to talk to you" he said and pulled Lloyd to one side. "I forgot to say this last night but I dont think we should any tell the others about us just yet if that's ok with you, it's just I don't know how they will react so it will be our little secret?". The blonde was a bit worried about Kai's decision but he nodded and gave Kai a very discrete kiss to which he just smiled and walked with Lloyd to first lesson. "Why do we have to have maths again" Lloyd whined to which Kai laughed "because Greenie, we have maths everyday". When they walked in and sat down Mr. Burns gave them a sly look from the corner of his eye "ok class, yes I have you again unfortunately but Mrs. Lacy will be back next lesson. Now for the matter of homework, anyone who doesn't have it will get a half an hour detention so give it up" as Mr. Burns went round the rest of the class Kai gave Lloyd a smirk and Lloyd returned it. When he got to Kai and Lloyd he asked if they had there homework "we sure do" the blond said handing over his work with a gleaming smile on his face. "Now for the last matter before we start today's lesson we have too new students joining us today from another class". He pointed to the door and Cole and Jay walked in and quickly took the seats behind Kai and Lloyd. "Hey guys" Jay said with a burst of excitement in his voice "hey" both of them said in sync. "What are you two doing here" Kai asked. It turns out that D.T was taken of the schedule because a kid lost a finger so they got maths on there new time table instead.

The rest of the lesson went prity quickly again only basic maths. Jay and Cole behind them all lesson was a bit annoying as they kept poking and messing with Kai and Lloyd but they didn't care. All lesson they held hands under the desk and sat extra close so Jay and Cole wouldant see however Jay noticed they were acting a bit strange but dismissed it and kept talking with Cole.

Once lunch came around Lloyd, Jay, Kai and Cole ran down to the hall were they found Nya and Zane who both already had there lunch ready to eat. The four of them got to there table and sat down after geting some food. It was going fine, everyone was making small talk about there day and the whole finger incident until Jay spoke up about something that really panicked Kai and Lloyd. "So guys, what was going on in maths anyway? You were both siting very close and whispering to each other" both there faces started to get warm Kai new he could play this off to all but one person, with a sense of dread he raised his now bright red face at his sister who couldn't contain her self with a glint in her eye and a smile on her face. But she new that if they havnt said anything then they want it to stay that way so she kept her mouth shut. "Erm - were planing a surprise for my mum" Lloyd said quickly "yeah it's her birthday soon so Lloyd asked for my help, that's all" Kai added. Oh ok then Jay said before returning to his lunch then Nya gave Kai that we are having a serious conversation later look that could kill a man at 100 yards.

After school the gang set off in differant directions home, Lloyd went with Kai and Nya because Kai thought it best he was with him when they told her. "So go on" Nya said very excitedly" "well last night I finally told Lloyd that I liked him and we kissed and now we're together, oh and we told his mum" Kai said in a fast panicked way. "Well why didn't you say something, I think it's high time you got into a relationship Kai" Nya said "Lloyd, you are coming home with us to meat mum" Nya said in a mater of fact tone. With that the three of them started on there way to Kai and Nya's house...
