Jeff Hill is a 9 year old boy from Creston, Iowa. He has one sister named Anna, and a brother named Phil. One evening the most incredible thing happened, but we aren't that far into the story yet.
One day in the town of Creston, Iowa Jeff was walking down the library hall looking for a book when he spotted his best friend Mark.
"Hi Mark", yelled Jeff.
"Hey Jeff how are you doing?" asked Mark.
"Great how about you?" asked Jeff.
"Good", said Mark.
They both went down the isle.
"So how is your mom doing I heard she got really sick?" asked Jeff.
"She's doing good", answer Mark. They still don't know what it is that's making her sick.
Right then the biggest bully in the elementry came and pushed Mark down and yelled, "NERD!"
Mark got up and said to Jeff, "Lets not listen to him hes just a jerk."
Later on Mark went home and so did Jeff. When Jeff got home he saw something on his porch. He got closer and it attaccked him. He didn't know what it was but in one of its bites he was knocked out. Later on his mother was getting worried so she made up her mind to go look for him. She stepped out the door.
