Chapter 4: New Member?

Luna's POV

It is day one of being good for the whole week. The first thing I do after I wake up I take my medicine like Batman said. I haven't exactly been taking it oops. After that I eat some breakfast and then I meditate so my wolf instincts don't take control. Afterwards I go to the courtyard to hang with Ivy and Harley I even have a new nickname.

"I think I'm gonna call you Wolfy since your smile reminds me of a wolf." when she said that I nearly had a heart and core attack. After the courtyard I got lunch then I pretty much did nothing except stare at the wall and meditate a little bit. Then I had dinner and took my medicine again and then it's off to bed.

For the rest of the week I simply repeated all of the things I did the first day. Finally it was the end of the week and Batman was coming to get me. Instead of my Arkham uniform I was wearing a black v-neck shirt with my LP symbol. I have on my same cloak and of course my domino mask. I got my bracers for both of my arms to help me stay alive since their experiment jacked up my heart and core. I'm also wearing a black and white skirt and white leggings. I have on ankle high combat boots that are black with white laces. I'm lucky enough that my leggings and boots cover my prosthetic left leg. The GIW thought it would be fun to see if I can regrow a limb hint I can't but I am smart enough to make a prosthetic leg. I have an IQ of like 215 so I'm pretty smart plus I have street smarts.

"Are you ready to go?" Batman asked me when he walked in.

"Yep." I said popping the 'p' "I sure am but where are we going?" I questioned.

"You'll find out soon." he said simply (Jerk).

"Fine don't tell me." I muttered.

"Remember your name is Danielle Angelita Cooper and you are from Wisconsin. Your parents died in a car accident. Now I don't expect them to want your whole backstory but this is just a precaution." Batman told me. I almost freaked when he said Wisconsin but I held it in pretty well if I do say so myself.

"Wait will I have to take off my hood." I said since I still kept my hood over my head.

"Yes and your mask will that be okay.' Batman said sounding concerned.

"Uh sure I guess as long as they don't freak." I said hoping they wouldn't even though I don't know who 'they' were.

"Don't worry they are used to freaky things." Batman said reassuringly.

"Okay" with that I looked out the window of the batmobile thinking about my new life.

Regular POV

Robin was pacing around in the main room deep in thought. 'Batman said that we were getting a new teammate but who? I know he won't just give us someone he just met and he did say this person did solo hero work. Would they even know how to work with a team?' he kept thinking about who this new person could be.

"Hey Rob. Are you okay?" Kid Flash aka Wally West asked.

"Oh yea I am KF." Robin said startled a little bit from the unexpected voice.

"Are you sure because you don't look like you are." KF said.

"I am it's just Batman told me we are getting a new teammate today." Robin said and all of the others were walking in so they heard what he said.

"Wait what! We're getting a new teammate since when?" Artemis asked.

"Since a week ago." Robin stated sheepishly.

"And you kept that from us for that long." Aqualad aka Kaldur said,

"Uh yea I'm sorry Batman told me not to tell you." Robin confessed.
