I purposely didn't do my math assignment so that I'd earn a detention slip from him.

"Kim Mari, why haven't you handed your book in?"
He questioned in front of the entire class, an eyebrow raised as he intensely observed me.

"I didn't do my homework, seonsaengnim"
I flashed him a warm smile, my eyes glued onto his slouched body as he clicked his tongue in response.

"You're going to detention then"
He was quick to reply, ripping his eyes off of me to observe the other students seated in the class.

I could see him struggle to fight off the smirk creeping onto his lips, because we both knew, that he was in charge of detentions.
