"Mari, do your work"
His stern tone made me look up at his towering figure as he slouched down in front of me with his palms pressed on my table.

He was so beautiful. His features were sharp and his face was beautifully sculpted.

"I don't want to"
I quickly replied, flashing him a smirk as his eyes widened.

I could feel others' gazes on me as they witnessed my rebellious side resurface. I didn't care.

"You don't have a choice"
He clearly pronounced his words, staring directly into my eyes.

I couldn't tell whether or not he was being serious or just simply teasing me.

I leaned back in my chair, my arms crossed over my chest as I confidentially stared back into his deep orbits.

"Stay back after detention"
His voice was slightly lowered as he spoke, an unreadable expression plastered on his smooth face.

I felt my heart drop to the pit of my stomach as he turned around and walked towards the blackboard.
