By reading other people's work, you can upgrade your skills and become a better writer in the future! It can also help you to strive towards being more confident with your writing! Inspiration can come from all sorts of things such as places, people, thoughts and most easies for me is books! I've had many story ideas from the books/movies I see/read and they develop into a part of some of my stories. That's why you may see a familiar scenario or happening in my books that you've seen before, a very loose version though. I started writing after reading a book by Maggie Steifvater, it was called "forever" and was apart of a trilogy. Funny thing is that I got the book from a charity store and I was in fact reading the last book in the series! It still encouraged me to write my own spin off and I remember it even today!
