Paitence is key!

One of the most important factors of gaining reads is to realise that it doesn't just work it's magic overnight. For many of my stories I have waited months - even 2 years in order to get as many reads as they've gotten now.

Numerous times I have been asked "How do you get so many reads?" And to that, the most important thing that I heavily put across is that patience is truly a virtue and you need to wait for the outcome. Yes, there will be times where you think that you'll never get any reads and noticing that there's only been 1 read more since yesterday but those little things are in fact great milestones that will make every bit of work you do from then on to be better and to gain more publicity.

Each read, vote and Comment will be steadily improving your book little by little.

Yes, it may feel as if every single hour of every single day is truly worth nothing as each work isn't going anywhere and honestly, it's not your fault. Every single Author is great, no matter how many reads. I always think that no matter what you get from Wattpad; the greatest thing you can gain is the true satisfaction of making something great, making a great story that you can enjoy, regardless if anyone else does or doesn't. For that, everyone should be truly glad and give themselves a pat on the back for.
