Caroline's pov

After I got to my room I lie down on the bed and start thinking about how to make Ciel happy again all though I may not be good a cooking, cleaning, gardening, or really much I can still help Ciel be happier than he usually is though sometimes I fear I'm not doing a good job. I decide to tell Mey-Rin about my problems and see what she thinks.
I'm walking up to Mey-rin and I call out to her "Mey-Rin? Might I ask you something?" And she turns and says "Yes Misstress please do." And I tell her about me problems and ask "What should I do for Ciel?" And she says "I don't really know I would recommend asking Bard or Finny." And I say "Okay thanks for all your help." And turn away to find someone else. Right as I turn the corner I run into someone and fall but don't hit the ground "Hello Sebastian." I say as I feel the ground being placed back beneath my feet I look up to him and he smiles and says "Hello to you to Mistress. Might I help you with something?" And I said "No I'm fine." And tried to walk away but he stopped me and said "Please Mistress talk to me I know something is bothering you, you need to trust me." I felt bad he was asking me like he was it kind of sounded like begging so I told him about what was going on and he understood and said "It's going too be okay I'll help you." And he smiled at me and put his hand on my shoulder and said "I promise." And walked away honestly I wanted to talk to him again but whatever happens, happens.
Ciel's pov

After I came inside I saw Caroline go strait up to her bedroom and it worried me but I decided to go to the study and try to relax instead of think what was wrong. By the time I was in my study I was too worked up to relax so I decided to go ask Caroline what was wrong my self. On the way to Caroline's room I saw Sebastian so I walked up to him and asked "Sebastian?" Do you know where Caroline is?" And he turned around and saw me "No I don't know where she is but she did go that way." He said pointing to the east wing near the entrance of the building so I went in that direction and there I found Mey-Rin and I asked her and she said "No I'm sorry master I didn't ask her." So I went to her room and I found a note on her bed that was left for Sebastian that said
Dear Sebastian,
I went back into town for a little while but please don't tell Ciel about what's going on I don't want him to know I'm not sure he's ready, not yet anyways. But I'll see everyone in an hour so please don't do anything your not supposed to and make sure the servants are in line and when I get back I want the mansion clean okay?

I don't know what she means by "don't let him know" maybe I'll give this to Sebastian and he can explain this to me. So I return to Sebastian and hand him the note and ask him "What does she mean by 'don't let him know he's not ready yet.'?" And he looks at me and says "I'm afraid I cannot tell you that information." And he puts the note in his pocket and walks away. I leave everyone alone and go to my room after a few minutes Sebastian came up to my room and said "Young Master it's time for supper." So I got up off my bed and he escorted me to the dining room. There I saw Caroline, Mey-Rin, Bard roy, Finnian, Elizabeth, Tanaka, and Sebastian sitting at the table so I sat down casually and pretended not to notice anything unusual. After a few seconds of awkward silence Caroline breaks it "Okay guys time to eat." Then she snaps then claps and the room is filled with people to help serve. Pretty soon everyone is eating and Caroline asks me "Sooo how is it?" And I say "It's good." And her mouth drops and then forms into a smile and she says "Thank you very much." But I don't understand why so I ask her "What do you mean?" And she smiles even bigger and says "I cooked it." And I smile back my sister cooked something as good as a demon and take another bite but then I can't breathe something that wasnt in the rest of the food was now in this bite I go limp my face falls in the food I'm eating and then I go unconscious.
Caroline's pov

Once Ciel takes another bite he stops breathing and falls into his food once I witness this I becomes flushed with fear and jump out of my chair, using enough force to knock it back and I ran around to the opposite side of the table from my seat so Ciel. Then I grabbed Ciel and ripped him up from the food and pinned him to the back of the chair and once I saw the blood coming from his mouth I grabbed him from the chair and said "Sebastian I might need your help in a minute." And I ran to the kitchen and set him in a seat then pushed everything off of the island and set Ciel on there, chest up and placed my head on his heart to listen for a heart beat. I heard one but it was faint what he had eaten was killing him fast. I ripped his shirt open revealing his milky white chest underneath I then grabbed a serrated knife and starting at his collar bone going down to his bellybutton making an incision then across from the left shoulder to the right making one. I then opened his skin and moved everything out of the way then found the esophagus and made a miniature incision there and found a blockade in his throat and pulled it out and it was a cotton ball. I put the ball of cotton in a tray and called Sebastian back in when he came in he looked shocked and I asked "Do know how to do stitches because if you don't I'll have to ask Mey-Rin and she'll blush the whole time and fuck something up?" He nodded and started to stitch Ciel back up. I then put Ciel on a food cart and brought him to his room then I hugged and kissed his forehead before leaving to examine the cotton ball in the laboratory.
By the time I was done in the laboratory it was dark but getting lighter which probably ment I was up around 6:30ish right now "The cotton ball was coated in a thick layer of poison and was ment for him to eat but nobody here would do that so somebody would've had to snuck in and planted it in his food even without Sebastian knowin-" I was caught off by the even more intense feeling of someone staring at me. I stood up and turned around to be met with Sebastian who was about two centimeters from my face. Instantly I blushed and looked away hiding my face but it was to late he knew I was talking about him. He pulled my face back into view with one finger and asked with a pouty face "Do you really think somebody could get away with hurting young Ciel without me knowing about it and stopping it?" I couldn't respond in this state he was soooo close I had to get out of this situation I turned my head the other way and took a few steps back but then I clumsily fell over my chair and landed on my side I must've hit something along the way because when I landed my side was bleeding. I sat up and scooted back and saw Sebastian again this time he asked with worry in his voice "What's wrong Mistress you seem startled?" I didn't know what to say but I also get the idea he doesn't know how I feel, after a while he picked me up bridal-style and said "It's way past your bad time mistress you need to trust me more often." Then my face turned a bright pink his face was so close to mine yet he was also so far away. I started to drift away in his arms and eventually fell asleep.
