Hurting

I feel his hat hands on my skin like a pan smashing in the surface of my face he repeats the next for the next 5 mins I hear Anna scearm to her father to stop she runs up to him and bites him. He swings her back and is getting ready to hit her when I throw my body on my little girl. He throwers the pan down and leaves the bedroom I hear his car pull out, I think to myself thank god. I look at my little girl Anna. I told her 'listen honey don't do that ever again it's for your own sake' not understanding the situation with tears in her eyes she says 'but m,mommy he he was hurting you'. . Next thing I know her arms are around my neck. Holding her head I hug her tighter and she says 'be careful mommy please' . I said yes baby I will be. I than hear navi crying I run to her hoping she's ok. I have my worries because Erick once tired hurting my darling navi. I got to her nursery with Anna right behind me. I look in her crib and she gives me a smile that warms my insides. I pick her up and start

feeding her. I look at the time and realize its 3:14 I said under my breath shit so stat Anna didn't hear me. I gently burped navi and went down with her and Anna. Anna sat on the table coloring a picture while nave was in her play pin playing with toys. I put my apron on and starting cooking. After an hour of cooking lasagna I checked the time and saw it was 3:17. Megan's bus comes at 3:25 I quickly put navi in her stroller along with Anna (it was a twin stroller because Anna complains about walking to mush). I went out he door at 3:22 with the girls and had about a 2 min walk until the bus stop and got there just on time when Megan's bus came. SHe ran up to me with a smile but soon it faded. She goes 'mama, he hurt you again didn't he'. I said under my breath shit. I forgot to put make up on my bruises. I told her it was my fault " i slipped and fell sweat heart". Of course she didn't believe me. But she let it go. We got home and Anna and navi fell a sleep I asked Megan if she could take Anna to either her bed or the couch. of course Megan said yes she toke her to room and carefully put a blanket over her.
