Pain and sorrow

As I laid navi gently in her crib I heard a car pull in. My eyes widen with horror. I ran down stairs telling Megan to please try to pick up she realized why. She quickly started picking up. We heard the car door shut. The place look decent. Megan pulled out her homework and we pretended that I was helping her with homework. he came in slamming the door behind him. He goes in the kitchen and pulls me by the hair. he says "I come home and you fucking done nothing get me my food". He than lets go of my hair and jerks my head back". he looks at Megan and says "what are u fucking waiting for are you not gonna say hi dad?". She gets up and says hi daddy's and gives him a hug. I start to serve the lasagna making sure he has the most and best piece. I serve us all and start to eat. "Megan I say" watching her just looking down and playing with her food "aren't u gonna eat". she responds with "I'm not hungry mama". I than see Erick look at get and say "eat your damn food " she starts eating very rapidly and excuses herself. I hear navi cry and start to get up. "Sit your ass down she's not gonna die of crying" says Erick. I obey I hear my baby crying at the top of her lungs. After about 5 min of her crying it stops. I get nervous

I finish my food and put my plate in the sink. I quickly go up the stairs and into navis room. she's not in there. I panic and go into Megan's room I finally felt relaxed when I saw that navi was sitting on Megan's lap while she watched a movie. "I went to Megan and hugged her I said "thank you dear for everything you help me with". she replays with it was nothing little smile on her face.
