Kianna POV
At this point all I felt was my body shaking and my eyes pouring out buckets of tears. Savannah of course was trying to comfort me, as I was coming up with all the worst possible ideas about Chres & I.
"Why does everything bad have to happen to me? Every thing good that comes my way always has to be ruined! I just can't do this anymore." I cried.
"Don't say that Kianna! Maybe Chres being Shaniyah's ex was just a coincidence. You never know." She said.
"It's a big world Savannah. I don't understand why out of all people Shaniyah had to be the one to be his ex."
"Like I said before.. It was just a coincidence." She said.
"I'm sorry, but I just can't let something like this pass. I have to end things between us." I said wiping the tears from around my eyes.
"What? No! You guys are already so close to each other, your really gonna let a person like Shaniyah get in your way?" She said.
"I have to. That's her ex. I don't want to be the one to date somebody she doesn't have feelings for anymore."
"You have every right to go out with him Kianna. You can't let someone who mistreats you wrong discourage you to get what's yours." She said.
"Well he's technically not mine.."
"But he will be. And if you can't fight for what you want, then you sadly won't be able to get it." She said.
"But I don't know how to fight for what I want." I said in a low tone. "Can you help me.. please?"
"... fine. But only because I can't stand seeing you like this." She said.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!" I said hugging her and cheesing.
"It's whatever babygirl ."
Shaniyah POV
He moved on? Already?! I know he's good looking but damn! I can't believe this. I have to find out who he's with. Not being a stalker, but just being curious.
I walked down to the restaurant where he worked, not that it was far from my place anyways, and I walked in to see one of his friends cleaning a table. Oh and don't worry, he's off today so he won't suspect a thing. I walked over to him and tapped his shoulder. He turned around and smiled. I think he always had a thing for me. I mean, who can blame him?
"Hey Shaniyah. What are you doing here? Chres is off today." He said.
"I know and we actually broke up, I came here to talk to you."
"Oh.. I'm sorry. And me? Why?" He questioned.
"We should probably sit down to talk. Do you have a minute?"
"Uhh.. Yeah I guess." He said as we both sat down at a table for 2. "So what is it?" He asked.
"How do I put this.. okay so I'm still not fully over Chres and when I called him he said he had already moved on and I was wondering if you knew who he moved on to." I said innocently.
"Oh.. Well no sorry I don't. I'll ask him for you tomorrow when he comes back though."
"That's cool. And can you not say that I mentioned it? Because then I don't think he'll tell you." I said.
"Alright." He chuckled a little. "Do you need my number? You know.. just in case?"
"Sure." I said as we exchanged numbers. "Welp, I'll call if I need you."
"Of course you will." He smiled then walked away. I just rolled my eyes. He may have a thing for me, but he sure as hell ain't my type.
I received no good information from him, but I surely was not gonna give up this easy.
Chres POV
I was stressing about this date Kianna & I had. It took the most worst turn possible. I never even knew she was the one being abused by Shaniyah. Now here I am, home alone, hating myself for bringing her up. I don't even know what to do. I decided to just text her.
Chres 💰💍: babygirl ? Kianna 💓💍: yeah ?
Chres 💰💍: you doing okay?
Kianna 💓💍: of course . why wouldn't I ?
Chres 💰💍: you seemed a little off on our date , so I just wanted to check up on you .. ya know make sure your okay .
Kianna 💓💍: I'm doing perfectly fine chres . thank you .
Chres 💰💍: no problem .. you wanna maybe go do something to get our minds off of things ?
Kianna 💓💍: not really . I think I'm just gonna rest for a while .. is that okay ?
Chres 💰💍: that's fine with me . I'll talk to you later .
Kianna 💓💍: alright .
Well that went better than expected. But I'm still not sure about how Shaniyah's gonna react to when she finds out about us, so I'm gonna have to keep us on the low.
But first, I have to convince Shaniyah that I still love her.
