I ran. It wasn't out of fear. It wasn't out of terror. It was because I believed her. I believed that she would kill me even if I ran. And that it would be faster if I ran. Not that she had to say the second part. I believed her because when you look into hollow eyes like those. There's not much of a choice.
Abi Slate ran. She ran as fast as she could, which is pretty fast for a sports prodigy. Katy, the killer after her, with hollow dark eyes, told her to. So she ran. Will she figure out the puzzle before she can't run anymore? And why does Katy want her to run?
