{Jeff's POV}
I watched as Vicious came down the stairs. She was wearing this grey jacket, with these weird boots, that had skull buckles on the side.
"Ready." She chirped.
"Alright." I breathed as I stood up from the couch.
I didn't really want to go to the mall, but there was something that told me that it wasn't going to be that bad..
"So much for never accepting her." I thought to myself. Seriously- it was yesterday when I pressed a knife to her throat, somehow fooled that there was a way to end her life..
I stepped out the door, shutting it behind Vicious when she walked out.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Look," I faced her. "I know some funny business went down yesterday.. a lot. But if this is a trick- I'm warning you to stop now."
She just looked at me. A calm expression on her face.
"I told you that we were fair.. I have no reason to hurt you, and I really don't plan on doing so. Can we just go and not try to fuck each other up this time?"
"If you're lying-"
"Lying is a waste of time." She said, resting her hand on my chest.
"I'm dealing with horrible shit as we speak, and I feel weak. My eye hurts pretty badly, and I thought maybe this could distract my pain.
Can we go?"
"Okay." I said, moving aside to let her walk in front of me.
"Thank you." She said, walking ahead."Oh, and another thing.."
I stopped and looked at her."Can we move past rivalry and set up a friendship?"
"Was she asking to be friends with me?" I thought.
She does have a point- we live in the same household, and I'd be really stressful if neither of us could just trust each other. But then again, if this was a trick- I'd just be falling deeper into it.
Oh what the heck- I'm Jeff. I can do whatever I want, and if she's just playing me, I'll get her for it.
"I..I guess." I muttered, walking beside her as we made our way across the yard for the portal on the tree.
I stood there, and watched it glow to life, when suddenly I felt something grab my waist.
I looked over to see Vicious, grabbing my side and holding onto me relentlessly.
There was something that hit me then- it wasn't the feeling, it was something... more strong.
I shook my head and focused on the portal, waiting on the connectors to communicate with the other side

I leaned up, seeing Vicious sprawled out on the ground.
"Better get up before it messes up your hair or whatever it is you girls throw fucking fits over."
"I'm not like other girls- I don't give a rats ass if my hair messes up- the more, the scarier!"
"Yeah right, but seriously, I've gotta show you how to use your illusion form."
I watched her get up off the ground, standing up and looking at me.
"I'm ready to learn, master."
"Whatever, fangirl. Come with me." I said, smiling as we walked deeper into the woods.
"I'm not a fangirl." She said, walking behind me.
