The place was “Brody’s Pub” – a small but efficient bar in Pasadena. People were everywhere. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Especially the four most regular customers of the bar – Cooper, Lauren, Amelia and Nick.
Cooper O’Connor was a promiscuous but good-natured guy with dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and a muscular build. He had a killer smile that could make any girl go weak in their knees and he was very well aware and proud of the fact that he could get any girl he wanted. He worked as a personal trainer at the local gym.
Lauren Roberts was a hopeless romantic and was in love with the idea of love itself. She had shoulder-length blonde hair, brown eyes and an angelically beautiful face. She worked as a chef at a restaurant named “Brigitte’s Bistro”.
Amelia Carlisle was a stunning girl with her dark looks. She had jet-black curly hair, dark eyes and a toned body. She was very down-to-earth and was the kind of girl who always put her career before her love life. She was a struggling actress and wished to have her own TV series one day.
Nick Prescott was an aspiring writer and hoped to be a successful novelist in the future. He was quite a decent guy who didn’t sleep around and only believed in monogamous relationships. He had blue eyes and brown hair.
“Ugh!” Cooper groaned as he watched a bunch of girls. “What the hell is going on here tonight? The more I drink, the uglier the chicks get.”
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.” Amelia said to Cooper. “You’re downright disgusting.”
“What about that girl?” Nick pointed to a girl sitting at the end of the bar. “She’s quite attractive.”
“Yeah, but I think I already slept with her.” Cooper said, causing Lauren and Amelia to groan in disgust.
“Okay, what about that one?”
“Her too.” he said.
“Good god, Cooper! Why don’t you just move?” Lauren said. “Apparently you’ve slept with 95% of the women in America.”
“What makes you think that I’m only into women?” Cooper said with an evil grin.
The three of them stared at him, stunned.
“Geez, I’m kidding. Look at your faces!” he burst out laughing.
Nick laughed as well. The girls just rolled their eyes.
“I’ll buy the next round of drinks.” Cooper said and left the table.
“So, Amy, where’s that boyfriend of yours tonight?” Nick asked.
“I have a boyfriend?” Amelia was confused.
“Yeah, that dude you were with the other night? The one with the long ponytail and weird accent?”
“Oh, Wheeze?! Yeah, he was only temporary.” she said coolly.
“His hair was longer than yours.” Lauren giggled. “I can’t believe the freaks you hook up with.”
“Oh, you’re the one to talk. Dating a guy with a butt bigger than Nicki Minaj’s.” Amelia teased.
“Oh, here we go again. It’s not that big!” Lauren exclaimed.
“It really is.”
Lauren turned to Nick.
“It’s gigantic.” Nick nodded faking seriousness.
“Gigantic?” Cooper asked, coming back to the table with the drinks. “What are we talking about, Marvin’s booty?”
Lauren sighed. “Well, at least he doesn’t have a peculiar name like Wheeze.” She said giving Amelia a look.
