The next morning, Dr Knowles was again no where to be found. Nicky just took this as a regular thing and paid no attention to the matter. It wouldn't be her getting in trouble for not shadowing the doctor. It would be Tara for failing to even bother showing up for work.

"Hello?" Nicky answered her cell after digging it out of her scrub pocket.

"Hey, it's Juice. You busy?"

"I'm at work."

"Oh, shit. I'm sorry. I am such an....-"

"No! No!" Nicky stopped him. "It's fine. I wouldn't have answered if I was busy. Have you seen Tara?"

"I think she's with Jax."

"Of course." Nicky mumbled with a heavy eye roll. She clearly didn't give two shits about her career. The hospital should always come first.

"Is everything all right?"

"Yeah, it's nothing important."

"Okay...well, I was calling to see if you wanted to do something tonight?"

"I would love to." She couldn't contain her smile. It was strange because going out on 'dates' was the last thing on her mind when coming back to Charming. In fact, she swore to herself she wouldn't see anyone. Nicky had never been much of a boyfriend type person. She just didn't like the commitment and would rather focus on her own life and career. Something about Juice just felt...different. In a good way.

Juice and Nicky made arrangements to meet at the clubhouse. It wasn't ideal bringing her there because Juice didn't want the guys seeing her, but it was better to meet there than her place. Considering she is still living with her uncle. Juice wasn't ashamed or embarrassed about bringing her around the clubhouse. He just didn't want any of the other guys getting any ideas about her. She wasn't a crow eater, obviously, but some of the people who don't know her might treat her like one. Juice didn't want to put her in that type of situation. Thankfully, there was a Cara Cara wrap party and most of the guys wouldn't even be around.

"Who you talking to?" Ope questioned coming up behind him.

"No one." Juice spoke quickly, returning back to what he was working on the laptop.

"Was it that girl from yesterday?"

"Yeah..."

"She seemed...sweet. I'm happy for you. You deserve someone like her."

Juice chuckled nervously. "Thanks." He couldn't understand why he suddenly didn't want to speak about her...to anyone. He had no claim on her. They weren't in a relationship. Yet he was already terrified someone was going to steal her away. His insecurities just came flooding out. Even though he didn't know Nicky, he knew enough to know she would bring something good to his life. Something he never felt he had. Love.

"Did you invite her to the wrap party?"

"I don't think that's her kind of scene."

"Hmm, you never know." Ope shrugged his shoulders. "Anyway, you get the intel on Zobelle ready?"

"I just gotta print this then we're good."

"Alright, we're meeting in the garage." Juice nodded his headed in agreement, then Ope left. Jax came in a minute later gathering Juice, saying they're ready. He stuck the papers in a folder, and followed Jax out. He knew that guys wouldn't be happy with what he found. Because frankly, he didn't find shit. Zobelle had nothing on him. At least nothing he could find on a computer. He knew this problem was only going to get more messy, and there's nothing he could do to stop it.
