The man woke to the grumbling of his exceed's stomach. His hair was messy, and his clothes were wrinkled. He looked in the mirror and sighed, he didn't look his best. However, if Frosch was hungry, he had to feed her. So Rogue got up, although he would of much rather wanted to continue sleeping. He exited his room, scratching his stomach and yawning. He headed towards the kitchen- only to be met by a beautiful surprise.
A girl, dressed in a blue fur coat with a white trim was there. She was making pancakes- however messy she was. She was clumsy with the pans, her clothes were stained with pancake batter. However, the girl looked determined to make these pancakes! So, after every clumsy mistake, she would get back up, check the batter and continue working. Rogue was still groggy and he couldn't remember what had happened the night before. However, he predicted that this girl was not just a random stranger who robbed his house. He didn't know who the girl was, so, he wiggled his way through pots and pans, uncleaned dishes, and dirty clothes until he found his way to the table.
When he got to the table, he noticed it was clean. His disastrous pile of papers was stacked neatly on the side of his circular table, the table was made for three, and each napkin was folded triangularly. Did the girl do this? Did the gorgeous girl he couldn't quite recall do this? If so, why? He grabbed a copy of Sorcerer Magazine, and sipped his coffee. He did his normal routine- until he remembered, he didn't make the coffee! The bluenette, who was struggling with making breakfast had. 'Who is she?', he pondered over who she may possibly be, until he found an article in Sorcerer Magazine that peaked his interest.
NO MORE JUVIA?
Has the beloved water mage of the guild Fairy Tail left?
We answer the question everybody has been dying to know in this week's chapter of Fairy Tail Gossip! (Love Love Edition!) This rumor has been spreading for weeks, but we proved it to be false information at that time! However, footage from video lacrima from inside the Fairy Tail Guild Hall and outside of the Guild begs to differ!
Juvia Lockser confessed her love to Gray Fullbuster!
However, things did not go as planned. Gray rejected the gorgeous water beauty, which doesn't seem to annoy Juvia. That's the usual way it goes, right? Well, WRONG! This time- it's more intense! Juvia confessed her love for him, and Gray-sama stubbornly rejected her! He even said, "I don't care about your love, and honestly, I'd rather be drinking right now." OUCH! That's a stab in the heart for Juvia. Rumors say Juvia had started to cry at this point! I mean, who wouldn't? Almost as if that wasn't enough, Gray added on that he "doesnt love" and "doesn't need" Juvia! Dayum, Gray! Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed then bump your head? Otherwise, what'cha doing to our gorgeous Juvia? Juvia proceeded to tell Gray that she still loved him, but Gray was DONE WITH HER! Almost as if on cue, he told her that he finds her "annoying", that he "can't stand" her, and more!
Things get spicier, Gruvia fans!
Juvia runs into the bathroom- devastated and heartbroken. We don't know what happened in the bathroom, but something must have. Because when she came out of the stalls, her eyes were taken of color. She wasn't hurt, nor was she pissed. Gray tried to apologize to the young bluenette, but she refused his apology, saying, "My Prince, the love of my life, is gone. Now it's just some ice bastard trying to be him." She then left the guildhall before anyone could say a thing to her- then ran. We do not know where she wen't, or who she met up with, however we do know that GRUVIA is no more, and that Juvia may not be returning to Fairy Tail. Hopefully the bluenette returns, but if she doesn't, we pray that she is having fun wherever she is!
IF YOU SIGHT JUVIA, PLEASE TELL US! WE'D LOVE TO GET THE INSIDE SCOOP ON HER!
Rogue shut the book. So, that's who she is. That's why she's here. However, how did she meet him? Or, were they pals before? As Rogue put the book down, he saw a certain bluenette heading to his table, and heard the grumbling of Frosch's stomach, reminding him that he came outside to get Frosch some food! The bluenette sat down, and smiled.
"H-" Rogue was interrupted.
"Hi. I don't think we officially met, but thank you for letting me stay."
"Y-You're welcome." Rogue was becoming more and more confused by the minute.
"My name is Juvia Lockser, and I'm a mage at Fairy Tail. What about you?" Juvia asked him, emotionless. Rogue was confused... wasn't Juvia the sparkling, kind girl of Fairy Tail who never failed to make others smile with her tasty baked goods or her kind words?
"I'm Rogue Chesney!" He cheerfully added, "And this here is Frosch!" He held up his green cat, showing her to the bluenette. Rogue then whispered in the bluenette's ear, "She thinks she's a frog! So don't make her think otherwise, haha."
"Okay. Well, let's start eating, shall we?" Juvia deadpanned. Her eyes didn't sparkle, nor did they water. She was beyond the point of heartbroken. She lost her trust in humanity. She couldn't trust anyone. If she did, they'd betray her. Or, if she ever fell head over heels in love with someone again- the love would not last. She would be rejected, made fun of, ridiculed, or all of the above. Although she had peaked interest in the man with the green cat, she wouldn't let it go beyond that. She wanted to make this man her friend, but at the same time, she didn't. If she made friends with him, she would, more than likely, hold him dear to her. And, this man, would definitely betray her. Leave her hanging. Never tell her anything, and be secretive.
She didn't want to talk to people, her confession probably already made it to the news stand, however, she felt obliged to. If she didn't, people would believe that she went into hiding. She became a hermit, whom never went outside, scared of what life holds. Although she was, she was on the verge of becoming a terrified of humanity hermit, she could not. She could not betray her guild due to a failed love, nor could she show her fear in society. She had to act tough. She had to be brave. But, to do that, she had to close off all her emotions. However, she was overjoyed to meet this man. That is why she was so determined to make the pancakes perfectly.
Rogue cut a piece of pancake and ate it, "These are delicious!"
"Really? Thank You."
After that short expression of Juvia's emotion, they cut the rest of their food, and had breakfast in silence. They glanced at each other once in a while, but for the most part, they avoided any and all conversation. They finished their meals, and didn't know what to do.
"The pancakes were great! What recipe did you use?"
Juvia started listing out ingredients, but Rogue wasn't listening. He was just admiring her- the way her hair curled at the ends, the way her eyes glittered when talking about things she was passionate about, the way her voice raised a note when she talked about something she really liked, everything. Everything about her was easy to admire- easy to gush over. He knew he had to help her- he wanted her eyes to sparkle like they did in that one second of a compliment forever.
