You're awfully happy today." Lucy commented.
"Am I?" Juvia hummed gleefully. "I'm just so excited to meet new people!" She smiled.
"Mhm..." Erza stared at Juvia, she was just too happy.
"So, what food do they sell here? Will we get to meet the other guilds? Where's our room? Is it fancy?" Juvia went on and on, smiling.
The girls hung out most of the day, but then some of them left to hang out with other people. Juvia, Levy, Mira, Cana, and Erza stayed together. The group planned to meet back up later, and now it was that time.
"Hey, Juvs!" Natsu waved.
"Hello, Natsu-san." He then whispered to Lucy, "Not to be rude or anything, but why are they here?"
Lucy then giggled, "They're here to watch the game, silly. It's not as if we have a Fairy Tail Team B. It's only us participating!" She assured him.
Mira and Juvia exchanged glances, then joined in on the laughter. Everyone was confused as to why they were laughing and exchanging awkward looks, but the majority of them ignored it and joined in on the fun. They walked as a pack, until they spotted two people, a blonde and a black-haired man, challenging people to a fight.
"Hey, look at that!" Juvia commented, not recognizing the man as Rogue.
"Who do they think they are?" Cana remarked.
"I don't know, why are they being so mean?" Juvia questioned.
"These guys are beneath us, literally!" Lector squeaked. Natsu was confused, and as the saying goes, curiosity killed the fire dragon slayer and his blue cat.
"What the...?" Natsu stupidly crawled into the battle scene.
"You!" Sting spit.
"Natsu Dragneel!" Rogue was trying to act tough. Once he spoke, Juvia recognized him as the man who took her out on a date then suddenly rejected her.
"Who the hell are you guys?" Natsu retorted.
"They don't know the rumored twin dragons of Sabertooth?" People gossiped.
Lucy ran up behind the man with cherry blossom hair, "Then, these two are..."
"Sabertooth, huh?"
"Rumor has it you're participating in the Grand Magic Games... Is that true?" Sting questioned.
"You know about me?" The dialogue continued. Juvia wondered why Rogue was being mean. Was that how he usually was? Was the Rogue she met just a fake?
"Acnologia..." Sting threatened, "You're the dragon slayer who couldn't slay a dragon, right?" He hesitated, "Are you sure you should still call yourself a dragon slayer? Y'know, I used to look up to you,"
Juvia thought to herself 'They are good people, at least Rogue is- why are they creating a facade?'
"Incidentally, this guy was into Gajeel-",
'Maybe these people are bad and I was just thinking about the wrong person', Juvia thought. But now that she recognized him, she knew there was no way she could mistake the man with the bright red eyes as anyone else. Nobody else had eyes that vibrant.
This must be a facade, she thought. Otherwise, she must have been dreaming when she thought this man carried her to a guest room and asked her to meet his guild.
Without thinking, Juvia yelled, "ROGUE!". Why was she doing this? Why was she trying to avoid any and all conflict between these two? This man could be evil.
