Birthday Planning

~Tyler's Pov~

After a night of teasing and having fun with Sapphire, she goes home. I was pretty happy. It's fun teasing her, but not when she teases me. Ugh. I decide to take a shower. When I'm done, I change and lay down and go on my phone for a bit. I look at my calendar and see that Sapphire's birthday is in a week and 4 days. I decide that in the morning I should start planning what to get her and what we should do on her birthday. I'll ask her mom in the morning what she's gonna do for her birthday.

~Next day~

I wake up and get dressed. I text Sapph and ask what she's doing today.

T- Hey babe😘

S- hi daddy..

God damn...

T- haha. Ok ok don't try that now lol

S- 😂

T- sooo wyd today?

S- I'm going to Ariel's today

T- oh cool. Well I'll ttyl k?

S- k. Bai😘❤

T- bye💖😘

I put my phone down and go downstairs and see my mom on the phone.

"Who's that?" I ask.

"Karen." She says.

"Sapphire's mom?" I ask hoping it is.

"Yes. Now hold on, Tyler!"

"Ugh. I need to ask her something." I say while crossing my arms.

(Btw idk if I mentioned this but I'm just gonna make it so both of they're parents know that Tyler and sapph are dating)

"Well we're going to her house today because her mom wants to talk to us about Sapphire's party." She says.

"Yes!" I say happily.

I put on my shoes and wait on the couch on my phone. I text Kevin and tell him I'm going to Sapphire's house to talk to her mom about her party. He says ok and that he'll talk to me later.

"Ready?" My mom asks.

"Yeah." I say and open the door.

"Sapphire isn't gonna be there, ya know that right?" She asks.

I nod. "I know. I texted her earlier." I say as we cross the street. She says ok and we get to her house. My mom rings the doorbell and Karen opens the door and hugs both of us. She greets us in and we sit at the kitchen table.

"Okay, so for Sapphire's birthday, I was thinking of having a party at a hall. And then before we could go bowling and play laser tag, also." Her mom says while reading a list.

My mom smiles. "I think she'll love it, how about you Tyler?" My mom asks. I nod. "Yeah, I know she'll love it." I say with a huge smile.

"Now, I want this to be a surprise. I was cleaning Sapphire's room and found this." She says while handing us a list that Sapphire wrote that said, "Friends to Invite for my 14th partyyy" I laughed. I started reading the list. I then got an idea.

"Wait, what if we get invites, I'll hand them out to her friends secretly and tell them not to tell Sapph?!" I happily suggest. He mom's face lights up.

"That's perfect! You're a genius, Tyler!" Her mom hugs me. I smirk. My mom then agrees. "Yeah, that is perfect! But what if she asks about a party, Karen?" My mom asks.
