I laughed as I passed Jullien King at the finish line and boy did he look pissed. I skidded to a stop as he crossed the line. People gathered around me cheering and laughing with glee. "Alright alright alright people pass up the bets you know the drill!" The bets men Preston Drake shouted holding up his already money filled hands. People groaned as they handed up the cash unwillingly. Smirking I held out my hand as he slapped the doe in my palm. "You know Rali if you need someone to keep your money safe all you need to do is call ite?" Preston asked with a devilish smirk. Counting the bills I shook my head. "You know if I got in trouble I would call you but it hasn't happened yet so just wait until then kay?" I replied taking out a few hundreds and put it in his hand. "For your rent you need it more than I do man." I said with a smile. He returned it with a grin and hugged me tightly. "You an angel of kindness Rali you really are." He sighed in my ear. "Aye aye aye y'all see dis this is called mutual respect." He shouted waving the bills in the air. I shook my head in amusment. I wasn't that nice all I was doing was helping the poor guy out since he barely had any money since he was constently paying his mama's hospital bills. "Yo dog I gotta go if my dad found out I was here again he'll send me back to live with my uncle." I explained my hand on his shoulder. He nodded in agreement since he knew strick my father was about me. "Later Juvie." He replied giving me another hug. "Aye Drake tell your mama I said hey ite?" I demanded. He waved to let me know he would. Getting in my muscle car I drove away vigorously to get home. I growled at all the slow people on the streets. 'Don't they know I'm in a hurry?' I whined to my self. Gaining speed passed the other cars without any problems. Pulling into my drive way I tried to make less noise as possible to make sure I didn't get caught. Slowly and carefully I eased open the back door making sure it wouldn't creek. As I snuck in I snapped on the kitchen light and slipped off my shoes. As I walked over to the fridge to hide my keys in the veggie compartment because quite frankly we don't use it. I tripped over trip wire making three or four air horns go off. My eyes widened in fear as I looked up at the stairs in fear for I could hear footsteps storm down them. "Raileen Letticka O'Connor what the hell do you think you doing coming home at tgis hour and smelling like cars and money!" My father Brian O'Connor shouts looking mad as hell. "Dad why can't I race you and uncle Dom used to so why can't I?" I pleaded. "Rali we were young and stupid and it got us in trouble that's why you can't!" He yelled. "Why won't you let me have fun?!?" I screamed on tge verge of tears. "Your only eighteen years old you can't have fun!" He yelled his face getting redder and redder. "I wish you weren't my dad!" I yelled back tears now streaming down my cheeks. "That is it young lady you are going to live with your uncle and that's final!" He barked fury in his eyes. At that remark I stormed out the door keys still in my hand. I jumped in my car and sped off not caring if I got busted or not. I drove back to the races making every one look in my direction. I leaned towards the passenger side and opened the glove box revealing stacks of cash. Grabbing it all in both hands I walked up to Preston and shoved it in his arms. "Take it Drake pay your momma's medical bills and take care of your self." I muttered walking off leaving him dazed and confused. Piling back in my car I sped off again. It was getting hard to see with all my tears but I still drove. Not noticing I accedentaly drove into another lane and hit another car. Mine flipped over and tumbled across the freeway making me hit my head. Not knowing what was happening I fell into darkness.
