I growned and shifted in my bed when I heared my very annoying alarm clock ring its numbers off. It has been a year since that night and I still haven't spoke to my dad.

My eyes fluttered open and I looked around and saw a I.V. a small table and my family minus my dad. "Mom? Hello mom?" I spoke out towards her. "Oh baby my baby how do you feel? Does your head and arm hurt?" Is your pillow to hot we can get you a new one." She asked bombarding me. As she got closer to me I started to lean back on the bed to get away. "Mom your getting to close please back off." I whispered my eyes wide. "Calm down she's fine a voice came from behind her. "Uncle Dommy?" I asked in disbelief. My mom moved aside to show my uncle smiling his small smile. "Hey Rali how you doing?" He asked his eyes crinckling at the sides. "Pretty good exsept the fact that my dad is an ass and I'm done with street racing." I replied giving a sleepy smile. "Rali watch your language young lady!" My mother snapped at me. He smiled and nodded I sighed and sat up and rested my head on one of the pillows. "Damn these pillows are so god damned lumpy can I castrate the person who makes these rocks?" I asked more like growling. At that remark they all busted out laughing. "What got somthin to say to me hmmmmm?" I barked giving them the stink eye. "Baby girl you remind me of your aunt Letty to bad she isn't here to see you she would get pissed off since she would have some commpitsion for most snarky and sarcastic hahahahaha." My mom laughed wiping a tear. Uncle Dom stiffened at the mention of my late aunt. I rolled my eyes and crossed my legs blowing my bangs. "Well if she was here I bet that she would gladly agree that my dad is a complete and utter dick!" I exclaimed with a growl feeling sorry for my uncle. "What did I say." My mother growled again. I gave her a deep scowl that would turn even a drunk Irish sailor sober for the rest of his life. "You two need to stop this fighting! Nei leave her alone hasn't she gone through enough without you and Brian yelling at her all the time for what she loves? And don't start that smirk of yours Rai I know you arnt innocent in this either for going agenst your fathers orders and street racing when your not supposed to in the first place look were it led you." He complied growling at us both. I felt the tears welling up in my eyes. "Mom go home please and pack all my stuff and take it to uncle Dommie's please." I demanded my breathing becoming laboured with the tears threatening to fall. She nodded and kissed my head and closed the door behind her. I flopped back down and put my arm over my face and felt my chest heave with silent sobs. I felt myself being pulled to a rock hard chest. I moved my arm and saw I was in my uncle's arms. I threw them around his neck and placed my head on his shoulder. "You know your a lot like her." He said into my hair. "Who Dommie?" I asked confused since my mother and I were polar opposits. "Your Aunt Letty. You both were never afraid to show who you really were but always cried when ever you were alone. Plus the fact you look exactly like her in every way possible." He confirmed with a pained expression. I pulled away and gave him a small smile. "It was not your fault for what happened to her Dominic and don't you ever ever forget that do you hear me?" I said in a soothing tone of voice. My uncle smiled and pulled something out of his pocket. I felt my whole entire face light up like the forth of July. It was a model car and a very good on at that point. "A model of a 66 Charger with ninty-eight horse power no hydraulics on the side. Classic." I said with a smile and a shake of the head. "Its good to know you have both the O'Connor and my taste of cars or you would be screwd like a pooch." He laughed. I rolled my eyes and yawned. "Lets get you to bed so when you get out of here you can help unpack your stuff." He demanded setting me down on the bed and kissing my head. Giving a sleepy smile I closed my eyes and drifted back to darkness.
