(hi, I want you to check at least the first chapter and the second and after to decide if you wanna read on or not)
Even if the sun was shining badly, I was colder than an Australian in London. My legs were hitting the ground sceptically, because of the footsteps from my back. Footsteps of students.
I was nervous. A lot. I am in Texas, the second largest of the 50 states in the Unites States of America.
It's a new thing for me, my parents are not even here, fortunately, they will come next week.
Once I entered the building, I was greated by a young lady.
"Good morning." I said as amabil as I could.
"Good morning, miss. Searching for your dorm?"
"Fortunately. I am Eveline..."
".. Faith, right?" I nodded. "Well, your room is 455."
I thanked her and walked away to my room. I' m nervous about the girl I will live with.
I slowly entered the room 455 and found a cute brown haired girl, with big eyes, listening to music. I know she didn't hear me so I headed to her bed and shaking my hand. Nothing.
I pushed her arm a bit and she screamed.
"Hi, I'm Eveline." Once I told her my name she threw her ipod away and hugged me as tight as she colud.
"I'm Sage and I hope we will be like sisters." She said while the hug. I really liked her, she was the cutest girl I've ever met.
"I hope that too." Then, I realized how clean was this room.
"This room.. is.. clean. I thought I will stay with a teen with no intentions of cleaning something and preferably, I will have to work by myself."
"Well, is kinda an obsession. No judgement. The room is small so.."
"I love this fact." She threw me a questionable look. "The room, I love the fact it's small. I always prefered to stay in a small room with a girl like you or listening to music than going out with a bunch of drunk hormonal teens."
She just smirked and her eyes twinkled.
"Well.. that perspective will be gone faster than you could imagine." She said and laughed, making me laugh too. "I'm serious." Oh.
Then, she took my hand and headed for the door. "Where are we going?"I laughed.
"To meet some friends." She said and winked at me.
"But first.." She stopped. "You have to change and make-up a bit."
"Have I?" She nodded and went to her closet, then throwing a black top and a pair of black jeans. Black and black?
"Why black?" I asked her.
"It's sexy." I simply answered. So what? I don't wanna be sexy. It's Saturday. What about the classes?
"I'm not going to wear these.' I told her.
"Why not?"She was really upset cause' I don't want to wear her clothes.
"Well I'm not that type."
"You wear these or we're standing here all day." She just said the words I wanted. All I wanted was to stay there and listening to some music.
"Perfect."
"No, we're not. Please wear these. There is nothing wrong about them." She reurned to her gaze back.
Finally I gave up and took the clothes to the bath for changing. When I'm coming back in room I see a boy standing on my bed.
"Hello." I shyly said.
He answered with a half-mouthed "Hi". It's something strange about him. But, honestly, I don't care.
"Eve, he's my boyfriend, Louis. Louis, she's my friend, Eve." I looked again at Louis and he was staring at me. It's really something strange about him.
After a 'one minute dealthy silence' Sage said to go and took my hand, then running with me on the corridors. My brown hair was now in all the parts, this girl is crazier than I thought in the first place.
After we arrived in the left side of the dorms, I thing this is the boy's side. Exactly when the Sage wanted to open the door, the door is large opening and I wake up with two boys in front of me.
"Hello boy." Sage said sarcastically.
"Hi, let's go boys."the brown haidered boy replied. What
"But where are you going?" Sage frowned.
"To Drake's house." Niall replied giving her a wink. "You two can come, if you are prepared for that."
"Of course we are, don't ever be that uneasy with us." Sage spoke making Niall to smile widely and mouth "Oh my God, I'm sorry." He joked.
Sage after presented me. "Boys, she's Eveline, Eveline, they are Niall and Harry." She said pointing to each one of them. Niall then winked at me, making me laugh. He was really funny. A good presence. Harry just mouthed a bored "Let's go." I've caught him staring at me, but then I turned around.
Niall ran away from us, headed to the cars, then Harry and Louis started walking in front of us. I was looking straight to Harry. I would never accept to pe treated like that.
I turned my attention to Sage. "Who is Drake?"
It took a while to answer, for her to answer. "A murderer in Texas." I widened my eyes and my jaw dropped. She then laughed, the same I did. For a second I took her answer as a possible description for Drake. "He's a friend, but I don't want you to stay around him. He's kinda psiho..." I laughed than stopped myself as her gaze was a serious one.
We both got in the car, which was driven by Harry and enjoyed the awkward silence 'till Sage spoke. "Look, don't stay too close too any retard, all of them'll be drunk, and stay cause' this is adding to their stupidness. So maybe they will throw up at you, but.." She was intrerrupted by Harry.
"They won't."He said and laughed. I frowned. How can he say something like that?
"You didn't say that." I finally spoke. I admit I was practically shocked. No one in my whole life said something like that to me. How rudely! But, honestly, the shame is on me 'cause I am not that stronger.
"You heard me." He said, making my head ache. Will this night end okay? It didn't even start.
A tear felt unexpectedly on my cheek, before I could stop it. I don't wanna let him see me weak, even if I know I'm weaker than I thought.
"Ouch, I already had hurt you, didn't I?" He said while smiling and winking at me through the rearview mirror.
Now I felt miserable and totally dirty with these unfinished clothes I weared. I wish I could remain at dorms, doing something I enjoyed, in my pyjamas.
In the end the car stopped and I had put my feet on the ground first, seeing Sage exited the car with Niall on the other door, I took the oportunity and slammed the door harshly, before I spoke. "With all your car skills I have to thank you for not hitting any people or entering into a tree. Bless God!"
He couldn't help but laugh. "You don't even know what you've started."
(N/A I am dedicating this chapter to Anna, imaginator1d, 'cause I intentionally chose Texas as the town Eveline arrived to)
