Chapter 7

Riley's POV

I walk to Julia's house and knock on the door.

Knock knock

I heard footsteps coming to the door. "Hey Riley!" Julia smiled.

"Hey." I smiled back. "You ready?" I asked.

"Yes I am." She smiled. She goes back inside to get he purse then she walked out and closes the door and lock it behind her.

"I wish we can drive." Julia frowned.

"Yeah. Me too but we are only fifteen and well, we can drive but we can't without an adult." I said.

"Yeah I know. At least we get the exercise." Julia said.

"Yeah." I laughed.

We walked for about 15 minutes until we reach the movies. We walk inside.

We walk over to a lady at the front desk. "Hello. How may I help you?" She asked.

"Hi can we have two tickets for the minions movies." I smiled. I know that's known as a kids movie or something but me and Julia really want to see that movie. Julia placed a big smiled on her face.

"Yay. I want to watch that movie so bad." She smiled.

The lady gets the tickets and hands it to us. She looks familiar. Like I met her somewhere. Wait a minute. She works at Starbucks! Or so as I thought. "Hey you look familiar." I brought up.

"Yeah. You look familiar too. I met you somewhere didn't I." She smiled.

"Yeah. I met you at Starbucks. Did you quit or did you get fired." I asked.

She laughed. "I work three jobs." She smiled.

"What's the third one?" I asked.

"The other one is JC penny's." She smiled.

"Oh. I go there all the time. So does my friend Julia. Oh I forgot. This is Julia. Julia this is... sorry, I forgot your name." I said.

"Oh. My name is Shelby." She smiled.

"Oh right. I met Shelby at Starbucks when Harry and I went. Also I will tell Harry to text you." I winked. Shelby laughed.

"Nice to meet you Shelby." Julia smiled.

"Nice to meet you too but anyway, I need to get back to work. What would you like to eat or drink." Shelby smiled.

"Oh I would like a medium Coke and a bag of m&ms." I smiled.

"Okay and for you?" She asked Julia.

"I would like a large coke and a bag of jolly ranchers." Julia smiled. I don't understand how she's NOT fat.

"Okay. That will be $30.35." Shelby smiled.

"Okay." I said. I opened up my purse and got the money out. I handed it to Shelby and she gave me back change.

"Thanks. I guess we will see you around." I said.

"Yeah I guess so." She smiled.

"Bye." I waved.

"Bye." She waved back then talked to the next costumer.

We walk to the drinks and I get a Coke and Julia gets a coke. We put the lids on and a straw on and then we walked up to the lady near all the theaters. We handed her the tickets and she ripped of the ends and handed back to us. "Enjoy the movie." She smiles. We smile back and walk to the movie theater. We walk in and look at how much people are in there. There is only 5 families. Not much people and most of those families has kids in them. I don't care though.
