Once upon a time there was a twin, and she had never seen another life before.

For an unknown reason, her cell door had been unlocked and she was free to roam her new home in the castle. But she didn't wish to have this new home; she wanted to go outside, with no intention of trading one cell for another.

A guard, who understood her choice, let her venture outdoors. Here she had an amazing new feeling. Indescribable joy.

She skipped into the dark, comforting streets, as everything was the same familiar color of her cell but new and wide and open. The twin explored as far as she could, until she finally reached a sorry looking beast.

It sat on a wall, it's shoulders stooped and it's furry head down. The beast sang a song of loneliness, regret, and sorrow.

The twin smiled. She'd never heard such a beautiful voice. She stepped closer and cleared her throat. "I... I like your song."

The beast turned it's head, and then it smiled.
