Don't Care

Brooklyn's POV

"I-I'm sorry Colixto please," I say and he growls pinning me against the wall.

"Your disrespect for me is outrageous!" He growls gripping my neck I growl in outrage at his action and his grip on my neck tightens and black begins to dance within my vision.

'Alec' I call through the mindlink. I gasp for air but nothing comes in and black clouds my vision completely. I go limp all of my energy gone and Colixto releases me and i fall to the floor. I lay there heaving and I look up at Colixto full of sadness and hatred once again.Our eyes meet but they arent the blue-green I love, they're cold and all black. I'm seeing the monster that destroys families and packs and it's horrible.

"I hate you," I say quietly and he growls lowly leaning down gripping my chin tightly

"I never asked for a mate like you anyway,"he growls out and then pushes me away. He then stands up fixes his suite and walks out of the room shutting the door behind him. I lay there and begin to cry, my mate, the person supposed to love me almost killed me and pretty much rejected me and it hurts like a bitch because of the fucking mark.

"Fucking bastard," i cry in anger and Amazon whimpers but chuckles slightly.

'perfect set of words to use' she says laughing softly and I giggle a little.

'Thanks Amazon we won't act like it bothers us if he wants to act like that then we won't act like we care about him or this pack' I growl and I feel her nod slightly. Standing up I fix my dress and hair and lift my chin walking downstairs with a newfound confidence. Strutting outside I see Alec with a worried expression and he races up to me and hugs me tightly. The mark begins to burn fiercly and I hiss in pain but Amazon quickly dulls it for me taking it all in.

'you don't have to' I say to her and she growls in pain

'yes i do i want you to keep that confidence up, now go on bitch' she says playfully but i can hear the sadness in her voice

"What happened! You can't fucking scare me like that I was walking around scared and didn't know what happened!" He exclaims and I smile hugging him back

"Colixto got mad and yeah..." I trail off and his face falls completely and he releases me and checks me for injuries. He notices my red and beginning to bruise neck and growls a deep venomous growl. His breathing becomes deep and shallow as his protective wolf begins to surface.

"I'm fine I promise Alec," I say hugging him. He calms down quickly.

After a while of partying the party begins to die down as everyone heads back to their houses. I get many congratulations and many people come talk to me and everyones so sweet.

"I'm going to take these little rascals to their new rooms," Alex comes up to me. Jake has Sarah on his back and Samantha in his arms and Alex has Samuel on her back.

"Umm ok I hope you guys like your rooms, I'll come in there later to check them out. It's wayyyyy past your bedtimes." I say teasingly, its almost 9.

"whatever Luna," Samuel says emphasizing Luna and i ruffle his hair. They head into the pack house and Alec wraps his arms around my waist protectively and I stiffen. Colixto. His scent drifts outside and I quickly lean into Alec.

"Finish cleaning this mess up," He orders demanding an omega shoving him to the ground I growl. My protectiveness over the pack kicks in and I step from around Alec my head high.

"Y-y-yes Alpha," The male says in fear

"Enough Colixto," I growl and he snarls at me.

"Stay out of it Brooklyn," He growls and i step in front of the omega.
