chapter 1: bumping into wren.

Y/N P.O.V

"Y/N hurry up i've been waiting for half an hour!" spencer called up to me we are sisters except i have a different last name than her because i was adopted. her last name is hastings my last name is Y/L/N. thank god melissa is in philadelphia. spencer usually gives melissa a ride to her apartment. We have to pick hanna, aria, and emily up on our way to rosewood high.

"spence go without me. i'll walk or take a cab." i called back to my sister.

"are you sure Y/N/N?"

"i'm sure." i hear the door close behind her as she leaves for school. the only reason, i am walking is because i know the route that wren kingston takes. he was melissa's fiance until spencer kissed him. he is good looking, though. everyone knows that and by everybody i mean me, ari, spence, hann, and em.

i go out of the house and go to get a coffee. i come out of the cafe and i bump into wren. "s-sorry." i stuttered. "it's fine. Hey, aren't you Spencer's sister." Oh my gosh, he knows. "Yes." I reply, quickly. "Can I get your number so we can meet up here after." "Yeah, but won't Spence be upset?" I didn't want to hurt Spencer. She already has A on her plate the least I want to do is make it worse. "No, I already asked her. Plus she goes out with Toby now." I hand him my digits. I can't wait to tell the girls soon.

It's lunch, me and the squad got our lunch and sat at our table. "Hey, guys can I tell you something?" I asked sheepishly. "Of course, Y/N." Em said. "Well, you all know Wren. He asked me for my number so we can chill in the cafe after school today." I blurted out. "Spence, you are ok with that aren't you?" Aria asked. "Yeah." Spencer said. She was telling the truth, I can always tell when she's lying. She can't pull the wool over my eyes like she can with the girls.
