Who knew one direction were Were-wolves

The battle begins.

Skylars. POV

I followed my instincts leading me to the river that by the smell of it Zayn and Harry had already crossed.

I looked to my left to Liam.
"If only I could mind link Liam" I thought.

In the corner of my eye I saw Liam stumble as he ran and look, at me with wide eyes.

"Why's he looking at me like that?!" What the heck is going on! I thought.

Did that just happen?! Did she actually just mind link me but that's impossible!!!"

This time it was my turn to stumble a little as I looked at Liam.

"Wait Liam we can mind link?! How is this possible?!" I asked shocked

"I guess so! I have no idea! but you gotta admit it's pretty handy considering we're about to go to war against these rogues!" He replied back to me disbelievingly.

There was a pause on this weird mind link as I stopped once we had all crossed the river and started sniffing and smelling the ground for any traces of their scent or any indication of where they were headed.

"Wait can you do it to anyone else?!Liam asked intrigued.

I didn't bother answering him instead I focused on Louis and thought of something I could say to him.

"Louis! Who would win in a fight a hippo or a pantha?"

I looked around to see if I could find him when I saw him snap his head up from the ground from where he was sniffing, when his eyes suddenly found mine.

He looked at me curiously and squinted his eyes but then shrugged and went back to sniffing.

"Weeeeeeeeelll? Who would win. There both in a blank room with no corners and nothing inside its just the hippo and the pantha inside fight to the death. So who would win?!"

I saw him again snap his head up and stare at me while I was mid sentence.

"A pantha of course?! Wait is skylar actually talking to me in my head?! Skylar hello can you hear me.?! Over."

I giggled. "Yes I can hear you over."

I then decided to see if I could expand this even further and see if I could mind link with everyone here.

"I don't know if you'll be able to hear me...but if you can I've found a trail leading north west. There's some blood and I think it's Niall's."

I saw everyone heads snap up and look at me and tilt there heads curiously. Any other situation and I would have laughed and commented on how cute and adorable they all were, but we had a serious matter on our hands. And I could feel melody getting more and more anxious and furious the longer it took to find him.

With that being said I followed the trail of blood hoping and praying that he would make it and that we would find him soon.

I took off hearing The sound of paws following me, confirming that they still trusted my judgement and leadership.

Actually come to think of it I didn't know why Liam wasn't taking over and why his wolf hadn't battled me for dominance or shown any discomfort with me taking charge and ordering him and the others around.
