Devin pursed his lips together as hard as he could while his soon to be wife slowly made her way down the aisle, hooked onto her fathers arm.
His eyes burned with tears, but these were the happiest tears ever. He held them back though, but it made his throat burn.
His fiancée was going through it as well, she constantly reminded her self that her make up was too perfect too mess up.
Especially her highlight.
Her father kissed her cheek as he led her up to the alter and let his baby girl go, but he knew it would be in good hands. She smiled at her dad and thanked him before turning to the other man in her life.
She looked into his eyes and saw them fill with so much love. The way he looked at her, everyone in the room knew the boy was deeply in love with the woman, and vice versa.
Before the priest could even utter a word, Devin grabbed her hands.
"I love you, baby girl. Tonight is bound to be the best night of my life.."

"I don't think I can do this anymore," her voice trembled as she sat on the edge of the bed.
"Babe..are you serious right now?"
She nodded, "Yes I'm serious. Maybe dating an athlete was just a big mistake. I..I can't trust you."
D'Angelo sighed and got on his knees in front of her. He held higher hands squeezing the for reassurance.
"Now you listen to me, okay? I would never, ever, ever cheat on you. There's no other woman that I would rather be with. Now, there's no such thing as a perfect person, but you're perfect to me and I wouldn't risk losing you for anything. I understand that you don't trust me, but I feel as though I've earned it and if not I'll keep trying. But I promise you have nothing to worry about. I love you, baby girl. And I don't want you to think otherwise." he wiped her tears earning a small smile from her.
"So you'll stay?"
She laughed after sniffling,
"Yes."
