Adriana's Pov:
Sword fighting...

I was reading the book again, and as usual, I had one of the weird flashback things. And again, I see Edmund as Thomas, which makes no sense to me.

Another weird thing is that we were sword fighting. Who does that? In the medieval times yes, now not so much.

I hear the man at the café's voice as the lion and it all kind of felt... Real. Don't ask me how, because I don't have an answer for that.

Every time I read this book it happens and I don't understand. I really want to ask Edmund about it but last time it was brought up things didn't go very well. But I want answers.

Edmund left his number for me so I can call him, and he wrote down his address so I know where he lives. Maybe I should go over and ask.

No.

I don't want another fight. Things are doing good, great actually.

I take a deep breath and get out of my bed and walk downstairs for breakfast. I pass the door and I see a white envelope on the floor.

I pick it up and walk over to my couch and sit down. I open the envelope and pull out a letter.

Dearest Adriana,

You never would guess where I am now. I have traveled to Canada! It's the country above America. I've heard it's a lovely place, and it is! There is so much to explore. It's very different from places I've been, but so similar as well.

It's quite cold up North. They say they get snow here in the winter. I've always wanted to see snow. I hear it looks like a white blanket on the ground. Some say you can eat it too!

I've met a lovely lady, her name is Lana. She's an excellent chef which does come in handy. Back in Narnia I thought my duty was to protect and serve for you and Caspian, and of course Edmund, Lucy, Peter, and Susan. I was very focused on my duty and honour, I never thought about anything else. I thought my time was over for the fairytale of love. But as always, thanks to the mighty Aslan himself, I now have what seems to be; a second chance at life.

I quite hope you are well. I truly miss you, along with the Pevensie's, and of course Narnia, with all of my heart. I wish one day I will see you again.

Life awaits! Onto the next adventure, that I yet to figure out.

Yours truly,
Reepicheep, Randy

Wait what? I re read the letter a couple of times and I still am having trouble understanding.

Who is Reepicheep? Or Randy? Why is he talking about Narnia? The land I supposedly made up, according to Edmund. What does he mean by his duty was to protect and serve Me? How does he know about Narnia. How does he know Aslan? Who is Aslan? What is Narnia?

Now I really need answers. I decide to call Edmund to tell him to meet me at the café so we can talk.

"Hello?" Edmund's voice says over the phone.

"Hi, Edmund" I say, smiling hearing his voice.

"Adriana! Hi!" he says and I can feel his smile through the phone somehow. Don't ask me.

"I was wondering if you ugh— if you wanted to meet me at the café to talk about some... stuff" I say coming off a little more worried might you say.

I didn't mean to sound like I had bad news or anything, I just didn't know how to word it. "Ugh sure" he says and I can hear the slight concern in his voice, "is everything alright?" He asks.
