It's true what they say in stories that time slows down when you are in danger. It was as though the razor sharp glass shards flying towards everyone were falling in slow-motion. Sebastian had moved instantly to protect Ciel. Mey-rin's glasses had been pushed on top of her hair, (her eyes were really pretty) and she had a pistol in each hand. Baldo was carrying a rifle and was hurrying to the broken window to take position. And Finny...well Finny had picked up a statue with ease and held it high above his head...I don't know how he did that. I knew I had to do something I saw a group of five children around Lizzy they all had tears in their eye's but Lizzy was trying to protect them, I knew what I had to do.

I thought really hard about changing. My arms sprouted feathers and grew into a massive pair of black wings. I silently thanked Sebastian for showing me how to do that, as I ran to the children. I wrapped them in my new wings.
Then time sped up again. 
The glass sent deep cuts up the back of my legs and made holes in my dress. There were more explosions from outside. The guests were screaming, and the children in my wings were shaking.
"Are you okay?" I asked them.
"W-we're fine" Said Lizzy in a scared voice, "Thank you ______" I nodded and released them but still covered them with my wings to make sure they wouldn't get hit by any more debris. I looked to everyone Mey-rin had jumped out of the broken windows and was shooting unknown figures in the dark night. Baldo was shooting at black figures in the distance. Finny had thrown some heavy statues at some men just outside the mansion. Sebastian had picked up Ciel and was suddenly beside me. His swallowtail coat was in tatters but it was otherwise okay...uhm...he was sewing it back together. 
"Sebastian!" I said harshly, "Focus, everyone looks quite use to occurrences like this, why do they all know how to fight?"
"As Mey-rin said to you before my kitten, everyone has their secrets." He had set Ciel down behind my wings and then placed his hand on my stomach, checking to see if our child was okay. Slowly he smiled, and let out a breath of relief.
"We need to get everyone to safety." I shouted over more explosions, and the girlish screams of the viscount. I glanced around the room quickly to check on everyone. Agni was in front of Prince Soma and was swatting debris away with his bare hand. The Undertaker was just laughing and dodging and glass that flew towards him. 
"The basement, it was reinforced a while ago to deal with assassination attempts on me." Said Ciel in a matter of fact tone, dusting himself down he looked more like he had fallen over rather than survived an assassination attempt.  As usual I had so many questions but they could wait, I knew where the basement was. First of all I needed to get everyone's attention, I had wings and a cat tail, attention wasn't exactly something I was lacking in. I flew up to the ceiling of the ballroom and addressed everyone there. 
"Everyone stay calm." They seemed even more scared after seeing me fly. "Yes I have wings, can we please focus! Now the manor is under attack, and the only place that is safe is the basement." There was another explosion. "We are dealing with the attack but for now you are all going to have to stay calm and follow me...can you do that?" There were nods and general hums of agreement. "Okay" I landed on the ground gracefully and opened the ball room door quickly. "Everybody out." I said as I flew as fast as I could down the corridor backwards, keeping an eye on the guests and checking to see if everywhere was clear. It was as though I had just one thought planted in my mind...protect Ciel and his name. It seemed as though the others were doing their jobs and keeping the intruders at bay. 

Everyone came running towards me as I rounded corner after corner leading everyone to safety as quickly as possible. When we reached the door to the basement I opened it and herded everyone in. 
I couldn't see Ciel but I knew Sebastian would keep him safe. I lit the lams lining the basement to brighten the place up.  Everyone was shivering and scared. I did a few head counts to check everyone was there. There were two missing. One of the children I helped earlier came up to my in tears. "L-lizzy isn't here."  I looked around for the chirpy blonde but the boy was right...she wasn't there. Then Prince Soma spoke up.
"Paula is missing too." He looked scared and angry, clearly he was over me already. I looked around but the girl and her maid weren't there. I didn't know what to do I couldn't leave them alone with no-one to protect them.
"I can stay." Agni tapped me on my shoulder. I looked at him, form what I saw earlier I was sure he could handle himself.
"Protect everyone, I'll be back as soon as I find them." He nodded coolly he seemed so calm...Prince Soma on the other hand was running around like a headless chicken. Agni grabbed him and hit him in the neck Soma smiled, closed his eyes and fell into Agni's arms before being laid gently to the ground. "What on earth-"
"It's okay." Said Agni, I just knocked him out it should only last an hour and if I know Sebastian I'm sure that when the Prince wakes up everything will be fine. I smiled at the trust he had in my fiancée.
"I'll be back soon." I ran out of the room and transformed into a lion, I knew that if I came across anyone I could kill them if I was a lion. My instincts took over my prey was Lizzy I would seek her out and protect both her and Paula. I heard a scream from upstairs...Lizzy! I knew it was her. 

I burst through the door to Lizzy's guest room. A man dressed all in black has a gun pressed to Paula's head and another had Lizzy pinned to the floor with a gun to her head.
"Where is he?" He yelled at her. Tears streamed from Lizzy's eyes, the man pinning her moved a hand to her neck and squeezed making her choke. I growled and tackled him before slashing at his gun with my claws before transforming my right front leg back into my right arm. I grabbed his gun and pointed it at his head before looking at his friend. Still partly lion I roared which made the man threatening Paula shake satisfyingly. I transformed back into a human, I didn't care that I was naked at the time I had to focus on saving my friends. 
"Why are you here?" I snarled. The man I was on top of clearly didn't see me as a threat anymore, in fact the idea of having a naked lady on top of him seemed to amuse him. 
"Well aren't you pretty, little Miss Shape shifter." He laughed, "why don't you go part bunny for me?" I smirked.
"Sorry I don't co-operate with perverts. Now answer me!" I yelled slamming his head into the floor. 
"We were told to kill the butler and kidnap the brat." He choked out. I could only laugh at the thought.
"Oh well in that case..." I smiled, "You are so dead. Wanna know why?" I asked him, my laughter getting scary now, I grabbed him by the neck and smashed him against the wall next to Paula while picking up the guy pointing a gun at her and smashing him against the wall too. Paula and Lizzy looked shocked, scared but mostly grateful. "One, Sebastian wouldn't let you LOOK at Ciel let alone kidnap him. Two, Sebastian isn't just a butler...he is one HELL of a butler the rest of your team are probably already dead. And three," I felt fangs growing in my mouth and I bared my teeth at them. "The butler is my fiancée, and the father of my unborn child." I moved close to their terrified faces. "If you think I'm going to let you lay a finger on him, you are even more delusional than I thought." I transformed into lion again and their faces were hilarious. I was going to kill them...but I couldn't. Instead I hit them in the neck as Agni had done to Soma before. They flopped to the ground limply. I stood up tall and became a human again. Paula was comforting Lizzy in the corner of the room. I knelt by them, "Why on earth did you leave the group?" I asked them, upset that they had seen me like that. "Everyone is worried."
"m-my dresses." Stuttered Lizzy. "I couldn't leave them." 
"Seriously...clothes? Lizzy you idiot!" I shouted at her, she cowered into Paula. "Lizzy." I held her arm, "why do you think that these dresses are more important than your life?" I hugged her while she cried into me.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't think they would find us here." Paula had stood up and brought out a simple white dress from Lizzy's collection. I threw it on.
"Thanks Paula." I told them to wait where they were while I made the guys sit in a tree just outside the guest room window. If they moved they would fall out so I knew they would be safe there until I came back for them. "Okay now you two follow me I'm going to take you to the bas-"
"Miss ________?" Smiled Sebastian poking his head around the door. I smiled at him. "The situation has been dealt with...would you like me to deal with the others in the tree?" 
"Oh no my love," I said moving towards him, "I already dealt with them." I kissed him passionately, even though I knew he would be fine I was still glad to see him. Lizzy and Paula giggled. "I should probably let the guests out of the basement.
"Don't worry they are already out and on the way home." He bowed to Lizzy and Paula. "Excuse me, but I have some business with my future wife."  They both bowed playfully to us. 

He led me into my room and sat me down on my bed. "So business? What business do you have with me exactly?" I giggled as he kissed the back of my hand. 
"I seem to remember an agreement we had." He said putting the cat ears we bought on his head. "If I wore these, you would wear this." He laughed pulling out the lingerie he bought the day before. I was red and black...and almost completely see through. I sighed and giggled.
"Damn, I knew you'd get me to do it sometime." I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him back onto the bed so he was on top of me. "You know we should really start planning the wedding tomorrow."
"Ooh, can I pick the dress?" He asked purring a little while holding up the lingerie again. 
"Definitely not." I laughed before cupping his face in my hand and looking into his eyes. "I'm so glad you are okay, I'm so lucky." He smiled while he took off his shirt.
"I love you so much my kitten"
"I love you too Sebastian"
