The lights go out. The fans scream. The music starts. The concert begins. Standing off stage left, you stand watching your two best friends preform. Well, your boyfriend, Josh, and his bestfriend, Tyler. You watch in awe, trying to register what's happening.

"I can't believe it either," a voice speaks next to you. Confused as to who was talking, you turn your head towards the sound.

A man stands with a smile on his face, looking out at the boys. "I'm Sam. I help set up the stage and such. Known them since we were kids," he speaks, shaking his head. "It's unbelievable how far they've come."

"It is, isn't it," you agree, sighing. "I'm Y/N, Josh and I are together," you speak, hinting at the fact that you're taken just incase Sam gets any ideas.

Over the course of the concert, you and Sam stand together, admiring the music, talking about random things, making each other laugh. Throughout the night, Josh couldn't keep his eyes off you. Eyeing you after each song, glancing over at you while playing his drums. He seemed different than usual.

The concert comes to an end, with a sweating Josh and energized Tyler. They walk off stage, after taking their final bow and thanking the audience, coming up to you.

"You guys did so good!" you squeal, hugging Josh, wanting to support him rather than worrying about his glistening body.

"Thank you," Josh speaks, hugging you back, glaring at Sam who was talking to Tyler.

"Good job, Ty," you praise, kissing his cheek. You and him were like family, you acted as though you were brother and sister. Josh didn't mind the fact that now and then you'd kiss each other's cheeks, it's was just the way you showed your friendship. (c'mon, it's not weird).

You walk with Josh to his and Tyler's dressing room, him being oddly quiet. Usually, he'd be beaming after his shows with Tyler. Excitedly bouncing with every step. But today was different.

As soon as you reach the dressing room, you sit on the couch. "What's wrong, J?" you question.

"What do you think?" Josh speaks, rolling his eyes. He pats his body somewhat dry with a towel, then pulls on a t-shirt.

"I-I don't know.." you trail off, not wanting him to be mad at you. However you had no idea as to what he was talking about.

He sighs, rubbing his eyes, smearing the red paint around them a bit. He sits next to you, leaning forward. "Is he better than me?" he asks, staring at the ground as if his life depended on it.

"Who, Sam?" you ask.

"Mhm," Josh hums, not breaking his gaze at the ground.

"He's just a friend. He came up to me and we talked during the concert," you explain, playing with Josh's hair.

"Didn't seem like you were 'just talking'," Josh says, motioning air quotes around, "just talking."

"Josh..." you begin, looking at him. "Are you jealous of Sam?"

"What? No, I-" Josh stutters.

"Babe," you speak, cutting him off. You hold his cheek in your left hand, gently bringing his head to look at yours. "You're my one and only. I wouldn't trade you for the world."

Josh looks into your eyes, chewing the inside of his lip. "You mean that?" he questions.

"Of course I do," you confirm, placing a soft kiss on his nose.

"You're hot when you're jealous, by the way," you say, winking at him.

He blushes, hiding his face in his shoulder.

"Come on lovebirds, we're going out," Tyler speaks from the doorway, laughing.

Josh giggles at Tyler, then stands up, pulling you with him.

"I love you," he says, kissing you lightly.

"I love you more."
