THE PICTURE ON THE SIDE IS SOFIA'S DRESS>>
Also: Note the setting for the book itself is in November 2012. And just so you know I'm screwing around with the awards. In general, it's an award show *music genre*. (:
AND if you want to read a Christmas story, go read the beginning of mine! It's called "Home For Christmas". It's a Liam Payne AU (: External link brings you to the book!
Chapter 3
Once glance into the full length mirror, and I knew I looked good. The dress I decided on was a mixture of silver and lavender, had ruffles from the torso on down, and was tied with a bow just below the breasts. What made it so much easier to wear – than my other dresses – was that it had spaghetti straps. My chocolate locks were curled and swept to the side, and my make-up was done properly.
My phone vibrated from the bed, and I glanced down at the name showing up on my screen. “Tatiana”, it read.
Immediately, I grabbed the phone and answered her call.
“Hello?” I said, trying to keep my voice as neutral as possible.
“Sofia, where are you? I've been waiting for five minutes!” Tatiana's voice was like nails against a chalkboard whenever she shrieked. I winced immediately, and pulled the phone away from my ear.
“Jesus, Tatiana, calm down. I'll be down there in a minute,” I snapped, and hung up.
Throwing my phone into my clutch, I gave myself one more once-over before rushing out. If Tatiana didn't get what she wanted soon, she would end up calling Management, and in turn, I would get yelled at. Tatiana was a kiss up.
“I'm heading out, Ella! Be in bed at a reasonable time!” I yelled out before closing the door behind me, shutting me out from Ella's reply.
When I made it down the stairs, Tatiana's eyes were glued to her phone as her fingers nearly flew across the keyboard. When I cleared my throat, she glanced up at me, and said, “Come on. We're going to be late, and it will be your fault.”
“Whatever,” I mumbled, gripping my clutch tighter in my hands.
Both of us climbed into the taxi as Tatiana spoke the address of the club we were heading to the driver. I pulled out my phone from my clutch, and pulled up Twitter. Might as well send out some tweets.
@SofiaAdamsOfficial: ready to party with @Tatiana_Jones (;
I event went as far as tweeting a picture of myself in the taxi. Sticking out my tongue and posing, I took a nice picture and quickly uploaded it to Twitter with the caption, “If this doesn't say 'I wanna party', I don't know what does (;”. The picture, and the tweet were guaranteed to get a lot of hate, and give me a bad perception.
I sent a quick text to a few of my security guards, making sure they knew where I was at. Being famous, I had a team of security guards on hand and ready to go wherever I was at. And because they were in charge of keeping me safe, I had no problem with being nice to them (and I mean as nice as I am to them as I am to Ella). If I were nice to them, I figured, they would be nice and do an amazing job on protecting me.
Beside me, Tatiana scoffed. “Why do you always have to call your security team when you're out? You're nothing special. People won't mob you.”
