First Episode

Nandini's pov :

Five more days passed and I was able to gather a little information about Manik: most of them being his likes and dislikes. Aru (Aryaman) had launched the programme and its advertisements were on air. TRP's of our channel had reached the top. The programme's was titled as - The slambook of your favourite star. One month and the Slambook of a star would be revealed. It was a weekly programme and the total pattern was something like this:Each week one page of the slambook would be revealed and on the last day the star himself would be present to give a live interview to his fans.

As per the programme the first star of the slambook was Manik Malhotra, which was not revealed to anyone except for the programme design department Aru and me. I was in-charge of gathering the information about Manik and remaining team was set to work on the remaining stars.

Now coming to me. Uff! I gathered some information from Manik himself and remaining from Aliya, Mukti, Cabir and Dhruv. I was successful in obtaining the info required for our first week telecast. And now I was sitting in front of the TV to watch the first episode of The Slambook of your favourite star.

The programme started and all the information that I gathered was beautifully presented, in a very professional and artistic manner. Aww the programme was designed so well. I will definitely talk to the AD once I reach my office as she really nailed it well.

The Hashtag Store

Aliya was in her boutique showing the catalogue to the customer while Mukti was in meeting with the dealers when suddenly

"Oh my God! Did you see that. Aren't they talking about Manik Malhotra..." said one of the customers that caught Aliya's attention. She turned to look at the television and her jaw dropped seeing Manik's details on air and the very next moment she picked up her cell and dialled Manik's number. He didn't pick up the call much to her irritation.

Same time, Location: Malhotra Industries

Manik's POV :

I was in a meeting when my cell rang and it was Aliya. I didn't take the call as the meeting was going on but she called again. This was so not like her and so I excused myself and took the call. The moment she heard my voice she yelled

"Why the hell you didn't pick earlier??"

Aliya doesn't behave like this often, so I spoke in a calm tone not to aggravate her further

"What's the matter Aliya... why are you yelling at me...?" I knew only when there is something serious she reacts like this.

"Manik where are you...?" she popped another instead of answering mine. And by the sounds in the background, I could guess that she was packing no actually throwing her stuff in her bag and zipping it quite harshly...poor bag... I sighed and answered her

"I'm in office Alu, in the middle of a meeting. Now, please tell me what's wrong"

"Come home right now. I'm leaving and I'll call the other on my way back, bye see you..." and she ended the call without listening to what I wanted to say. Alu sometimes behaves CRAZY by every letter of it. I slowly walked into the conference room where the meeting was going and asked my PA to hold it on my behalf and rushed to our flat .

Nandini's POV:

After watching the show I went to office as I know Fab 5 would definitely search for the reason/person behind this and I didn't want to get caught, not atleast so soon. So keeping all the things in mind I informed Aliya and Mukti last night itself that I would not be able to join them for lunch and dinner also, apologizing for the same. They first didn't agree but I convinced them saying that work was very important and as I am just an intern there and I had to go and will not be able to come home for both the meals.
