A single mistake affects more than one person's life, but so many. It spirals into new problems, and some of these mistakes can be as small as not studying, or it can be choosing drive drunk. Everything has a reward, or a consequence... just hope everything falls into the correct place.

"Aren't mom and dad suppose to be back yet," I asked Sakura. My parents had been off on a business trip for the last week as I stayed with my 20 year old sister, even though I was capable of staying alone for a few days.
Sorrow showed in Sakura's cinnamon eyes, "Kyo, they aren't coming back." My eyes widen, it wasn't true... they couldn't have died!
"Stop messing around Sakura, when are they really going to be back," I exclaimed angrily, I hated her stupid jokes like these.
The gentle hands of my sisters rested on my shoulders. This wasn't a joke. Tears brimmed my eyes, running down my porcelain cheeks. What would happen to me now? Sakura was barely surviving to keep rent by herself... and we didn't have any other family to turn to.
"How..." I asked, forcing the word to come from my throbbing throat. I never cried, unless it was over something important... I had always had been the shoulder for people to cry on.
"Car crash, an under aged driver wasn't paying attention... and sent the car flying," Sakura told me, staring into my crystal blue eyes, "because you are so close to being able to live on your own, I've made some calls and found a place you can stay. You won't be alone, there is seven other people there, but from what I heard the house is fairly large."
"Ok," I replied drying to tears off my damp face. I let out a deep breath, having the tears finally subside, "when do we leave."
"Tommorrow, when the clock hits midnight. We will arrive around 5:40 pm on Thursday night,"
Those were the last words I heard before leaving to pack for the adventure that awaits.
