The Curse Prophecy

Chapter 6: Three Friends

The three battles had finally come to their end and everything was calmed down now.

Mitsuki, Moeru, and Kazuya were at the entrance of the city. Behind Kazuya stood a group of people all wearing a special type of cloth like armor with emblem on the torso.

"You're part of the Wizard Government?!" both Moeru and Mitsuki said in unison looking at Kazuya. Their heads somewhat close to each other as they leaned forward  towards him.

Kazuya placed his left hand on his hip. "That's right. I was originally here on vacation, however it seems four certain people managed to ruin it." He stated turning his head back slight to Barl, Carl, Jarl, and Darl who were tied up.

"Please get us out of here! Don't let that guy anywhere near us!" Barl and Jarl shouted with a tone of fear in their voices. Carl didn't say anything, being he was unconscious and his body and clothes were burnt to a crisp.

"Sir!" one of the Knights from the group stepped forward. "Will you be returning with us the Government Branch?"

Kazuya looked back at him with a plain expression. "Hm, not yet. I only just arrived here so I believe I'd like to check into a hotel and relax a bit more." He had a nervous laughter.

The knight nodded "understood. Enjoy your vacation sir." He said in a proper tone then turned facing his group. "Alright men! let's get ready to go!" he stated as the group turned around. From the front of the crowd came a large steel cart. The knights began to lift them and walk them into the cart one by one. First, Carl, then Barl and Jarl, and last Darl.

"W-where are you taking me!? I cant see anything! All I see is darkness!" Darl was shouting. "The last thing I remember seeing was an angel and light!" He yelled out in a panic turning his head back and forth.

"Angel?" Moeru said with a confused expression as he watched them get into the cart then the group of knights take their eave down the road.

After a few seconds, Kazuya slouched forward a bit and let out a sigh.

Mitsuki looked at the two of them and decided to break the silence. "Well, after all of that action I  think I've worked up an appetite."

"You just had breakfast!!" Moeru shouted at her in a comedic fashion with his jaw wide open and his teeth pointed.

"So what?! that was breakfast! Then there's brunch, then pre-lunch snack, then lunch and-" she got cut off.

"Now you're just making things up!" Moeru shouted again making Mitsuki puff her cheeks and pout with her eyes closed.

Kazuya then began to  laugh softly while looking at the two.

"What's so funny?" Moeru said as they both looked at him.

"Haha, n-nothing." he said in a calm tone. "You two are just quite the odd pair.  I don't think I've met anyone quite like you two." He said looking at them.

Moeru and Mitsuki looked at each other and laughed. Mitsuki put her hand to  her mouth and Moeru his hands behind his head. "Yeah, I guess so." Moeru said.

"But anyway, what are you two going to do now?" Kazuya asked.

"Hm, I suppose we might just head home. We originally came out to get something to eat." Mitsuki placed her index finger on her chin and looked at Moeru.

"I see, well I suppose I'll go and check into a hotel for my stay."

"Wait!" Moeru suddenly shouted "Why don't you come to our home?" Moeru said excitedly.

"Ah! I-I cant really intrude like that." Kazuya said raising his hands a bit.

"Uwah!  That's a great idea!" Mitsuki said in a happy tone. "We'd love to have you over. plus it will help you save money besides going to a hotel." Mitsuki insisted.
