Part 5

-Rileigh's POV-

The dinner hall was crowded at this time. I was sitting with Hadley, Alice, Summer, Scarlet, Skylar and Sarah. Hadley, Summer and Alice were doing homework for editing while Scarlet and Skylar were reading. Sarah was on her phone FaceTiming her friend and I was just awkwardly sitting there waiting for the food to arrive. It finally did and plates of bread rolls and hot bowls of soup were placed in front of us. Yum.

I started to gobble it up and finished within 5 minutes of it arriving. Shortly after the soup was eaten up huge pots of spaghetti were placed on each table. Loads of garlic bread and bowls of cheese were also put with it and I started to spoon some of the goodness onto my plate.

After we'd all finished our spaghetti, desert was served. We had bowls of strawberry mouse with biscuits and fruit platters. There was also a chocolate fountain at the front of the room so I headed up to that.

"Agh, watch what you're doing. You just spilled chocolate all over my new top! Agh I hate you!" A girl screamed at me as I realised what I'd done. As I was leaning over into the fountain I knocked over a girl's bowl and it spilled all over her designer top. Oops.

"Omg I'm so sorry, here, let me help you clean it up!" I said frantically as I tried  to grab some napkins but instead, tipped over the bowl of melted marshmallows onto someone's shoes.

"Sorry!" I said again in an apologetic tone.

"Agh, I know what you're trying to do..." He said to me.

I looked at him in a confused way.

"FOOD FIGHT!!!!" A bunch of people around me yelled in unison.

"AAAAAGGHH!!!" I screamed as bowls of food were thrown from every direction. I grabbed a tray and used it as a shield as I made my way back to the table I was sitting at before.

"What's going on?" Hadley said in a confused tone.

"Yeah...?" Alice said in an annoyed voice.

"I'm sorry...I didn't mean any of this!" I said as I ran out of the room. Tears streaming down my face. Food fights were supposed to be fun...but this, this wasn't fun. It's not fun when the whole school breaks down in a fight because of you.

"RILEIGH!" I heard Hadley yell out to me in a hurt voice, "What's wrong?"

I just kept running. Without even changing I got into bed, and fell asleep at my pillow.
