I Love You

The bell rang and it was already lunch. Every other student already left but me. I was too busy either daydreaming about Nikko or watching her in the classes she has with me.

I didn't pay attention to anything my teachers said today. Whenever they asked me to answer a question I just wing it. Most of the time I am correct.

I snapped out of my daydream when a painful thump hit my chest. "Ow! What was that for!?" She groaned, "I've been waving my hand in your face and calling you name for ten minutes!"

I scratched the back of my neck slightly embarrassed, "So.. What brings you here, Nikko?" She smiled softly, "Well, I was walking through the hall when I noticed you sitting here alone." He scoffed, "So you came to tease me about how I have no friends?"

She shook her head violently, "No! No! No! That's not what I came for. I wanted to ask you if you'd wanna go out with me for lunch. But if your in such a grumpy mood then-" "No! I'm not mad! I can go!"

She smiled but then it suddenly disappeared, "Are your bodyguards gonna follow us?" I shrugged, "If you don't want them to, I'll just tell them I'm not going anywhere."

She nodded. I ran out of the classroom with a small smile, "Let's go~" I was so excited I didn't notice I left my date behind.

"Hey! Wait up, Ice Prince!" I turned around and saw Nikko running after me. All the people in the hallway stared, but I was used to that already.

"What do you want, Sunshine?" She raised an eyebrow, "Sunshine? Aww.. Does the Ice Prince actually-actually have a heart?" My eyes widened as my lip twitched.

"I HAVE A HEART! It's just really small and covered in frost and icicles." She laughed, "You know, you're not as bad as I expected." She looked up at me. I giggled at how short she actually was.

She's what.. 5"7'? I rested my arm on her head and my giggling turned into laughing. "Are you making fun of my height!?" I shook my headand tried to hold in my laughter, "No~ You got me all wrong, Sunshine."

She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at me. I released my arm from her head and put it around her instead. "I think you're really cute.." She pouted, still keeping her arms crossed.

"No need to make up silly excuses to patch up your mistakes.. Just admit it, you think I'm short!" I raised my hand up in surrender, "Okay, I'm sorry. But I still think you're not short."

She looked up at me again, "Really?" And I sincerely nodded, "Really." She sighed, "I have a heart too, except it's actually normal sized. And that heart is so used to getting hurt by people that the only choice it has left for defense is anger. I'm sorry."

I didn't know she felt that way. She's always so cute and vibrant. I didn't know my little ray of sunshine had another side to her. This side seemed so sad and hopeless.. I wanted to change that.

"So.." As we walked out of the school cameras flashed at us. They threw weird question at us that made me blush and Nikko angry. But the last question completely struck her last straw, "Mr. Shirohebi Korioji. who is this beautiful young lady."

Nikko snarled at them before her bubble just popped, "This beautiful young lady is his girlfriend so please leave us alone!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me away.

"Do you know what you just did?" She shook her head. "You just told the world you were my girlfriend." Her eyes widened and she bit her bottom lip. She started to walk faster and faster, it was hard to keep up with her.

"Oh sh*t! What did I do!?" I personally do not mind being her boyfriend.. Just a thought.. But watching her panic is just adorable. "What are my friends going to think? What is my mom going to think!?"

I thought of a solution and snapped my fingers in the air. One of my amazing ideas popped up in my head..

"Be my girlfriend.."
