this is short as fuck

Carrie Daro sat on her bed, staring into space. She was thinking about how all she heard these days were, "I'm sorry for your loss," or "I'm sorry your mom died,". She was thinking about how only one person managed to say something else other than that. Allison Argent.

Allison Argent was the only person making Carrie happy, just saying 'I'm sorry' would not bring back anyone, it would just bring back horrible memories.

Carrie's thoughts were interrupted by knocking on her bedroom door. Carrie sighed, thinking it was her father, and said. "Come in."

The door opened, and there stood the girl that was the only thing on Carrie's mind. "I got us a movie!" She said, brightly smiling, before frowning at the state of Carrie. She moved to sit beside Carrie on her bed, and wrapped her arms around her shoulder.

Carrie slightly inched into her embrace, making sure it seemed as only a friendly way, when in all honestly, she didn't want it to be. She wanted to be able to kiss the hunter, to be able to move into her embrace as a more-than-friends kinda way.

Allison let her arm drop for Carrie's shoulder and wrapped her arm around the shorter girls waist.

"Y'know, I don't think you've cried since.." Allison fumbled for her words. She couldn't just say 'SINCE YOUR MOM's DEATH L-O-L. FUCK ME' "You know.. It. Um, maybe crying would be a good way. It may help you feel better if you just let go. Let go of holding back the tears whenever you see someone hugging their mother, let go of holding back the emotions you've held back, alright?"

Allison pulled away so she could see Carrie's face. What she was almost heart breaking, Carrie was slightly looking up at her with tears eyes, her lips trying to muffle the sob, her whole body was shaking as if she was trying to hold back everything. She finally let out a sob and wrapped her arms around Allison's neck, tears falling onto the taller girls neck but she took no mind of it. Allison only cared about the crying girl in her arms.

A few moments after, Carrie pulled away, wiping her eyes and looking at the ceiling as if her tears would go back into her eyes.

"I'm sorr--" Carrie began, but she was cut off.

"Don't be sorry, okay? You shouldn't be sorry, you should be glad you're letting go. You're coming to realise that you couldn't have don't anything. You were the best you could be, and that's okay. She gone, but she was happy, and now that you've let it all go, she and you are both happy." Allison said, almost laughing at the girl that was trying to apologise for crying.

"Allison, thank you," Carrie smiled meekly through her slightly blurry eyes.

"It's okay." Allison smiled, pulling the girl into her arms for a moment before pulling away. "I'm going to put in the movie now. It's Star Wars, by the way. Never let Stiles get you movies."
