The rest of the day went by quickly. Orientation was very boring. When we were dismissed I hurried to the bus and went home.

The thing I realized about my international school is that it's actually mostly Asian. Being Filipino might make it seem common but everyone in the Bus was either Korean or Vietnamese. They also chose to speak in their native tongue giving me no room to join conversations. I arrived at my house and opened the door.

*Bark*
"Aww hi Mandy" I said while petting her. She was quickly followed by the grumpy Diamond.
"Cmon Diamond don't be so salty"
After playing with the dogs I hurried to my room. I took a shower and jumped to my bed. I look at my slightly less crappy phone I bought from a friend last summer. I was surprised to see Facebook with so many notifications. Did I really just get 30 Friend requests.

I checked my phone they were all messages. "Oh...". In all caps everyone from my old school and in group chats were messaging POKEMON GO. My eyes lit up and I immediately downloaded it.

"Patrick Dinner's ready" my mom shouted.  I hurried downstairs and looked at the table. 2 boxes of pizza, I gobbled 4 and went out.
"Mom, I'm going to take a walk"

I looked at my phone and the app finished downloading. I made my character and I saw Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle. I chose Charmander and caught it in my first try. I went to the court because there was lure. I ended up only catching Pidgey, Ratatta, and Weedle. I played till I reached level 5 and chose INSTINCT. I walked home satisfied.

When I went back to my room I checked my Messenger. There was a message in "Kronk. Don't ask this was a reference to a certain time when me and my friends played Monster Hunter and one of them just kept saying "Kronk" to uh express... his emotions whether angry or happy. Anyway it said "guys lure party on Saturday in ABC mall."
Everyone replied
"Can't make it" except for 1 guy who said "G"

Some Of us transferred so only one guy from NorthMont and one guy from Le Sail ( the person who sent the message) were free because some people had an early semester and had to take midterms. I typed "Okay I'll go" and patiently waited for Saturday.
