I stand looking at the jeans in the mirror.

"Have I always looked this good?" I asked in a very concerned way.

"That's slightly conceited." Tim replies.

"Yeah, but, whatever they did to me seems to have affected the shape of my body." I frown and look around me. I sigh and take off the jeans. I try on another pair and find they fit perfectly. I look at them in the mirror and smile. I take them off quickly and throw on my other pants. I bring a pile of clothes out with me and to the counter.

"Wow." The lady working looks at me. "You found a lot."

"Whole new wardrobe." I smile politely as she rings up all of the merchandise. I pop a piece of gum in my mouth and I chew contently.

"You're total is 2,789 dollars and 74 cents." I reach in my pocket and grab out my card and hand it to her. She looks at the name and then to me. She shrugs and slides the card. I giver her an odd look.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"I've heard your name before but I don't remember how or when." The woman smiles and hands the card back. I sign the sig cap and watch as she bags the clothes. I try to stare politely at her face as she does so. I can't say I have never seen her before but I can't say I have either. She hands me the bag.

"Thanks."

"Have a wonderful day." She smiles. I walk with my bag of clothes and out into the street I go. The sun is setting and the streets are slowing down but they're still awfully busy. I decide to turn the corner and I go into a dimly lit alleyway.

I walk briskly and try not to attracted any attention. Even as I do so, I feel as though I am being watched. I have no weapons and no way of defending myself. I look up to the sky and pray that Bruce is tailing me right now and it's not who I think it is. I hear something drop from air. I breath in and turn around and see the blonde woman with pigtails land lightly on the ground. I try to breath evenly but my breath is caught when she looks up from the ground.

"Having a good night?" She flashes me a smile.

"Harley, I'm not sure what the Joker told you but I can explain."

"Blah blah blah, you try to explain everything. But you can't explain telling Batsy where we were going to be that night." She brings out a gun and smiles at me as she aims it at me. I drop my bag and hold up my hands. She walks slowly towards me.

"Because I knew where you were?" I scoff. "I was busy that night, probably being brainwashed by Amanda Waller."

Harley stops and her face changes.

"Amanda Waller?" She asks.

"She brainwashed me into believing I turned you in. She made me believe I was helping you escape Mr. J. She, she...she let me be tortured." I breath out. Harley lowers her gun, which is unexpected.

"Amanda Waller is a bad person." She speaks. "She tried to kill me and my puddin but she failed."

"In Midway?"

Harley nods and puts her gun away. She looks at me with sad eyes and runs to me. She wraps her arms around me and I feel the need to cry.

"I missed you so much." She says into my shoulder and I hug her back.

"It's only been 8 months, I was with your man when they broke you out." I laugh. She breaks away and looks at me. Then she examines my body, a quizzical look comes to her face.

"Why do you look perfect?" She asks. I let out a sigh.

"Like you said, Amanda Waller is a bad person." I shrug. "She made me a freak."

Harley is about to say something but a black shadow covers the both of us. I push Harley away as the Batman descends down to the ground. I cover Harley with my hands.

"She's fine. She's not harming anyone." I call out. Batman stares and I hear Harley gasp behind me.

"She's a criminal."

"Please, she's my friend." I plead. Batman looks at me and then to Harley. I feel my heart thud hard against my chest. Batman grabs a gun from his belt and shoots upward. A line goes out and I realize he's leaving. I sigh and catch my breath as soon as he's gone. I laugh slightly and back away from the wall. Harley stands motionless as I grab my bag. I look over to her and watch as her eyes grow bigger and bigger.

"What. The. Hell." Harley asks.

"What?" I shrug and smile.

"The Bat? You're, you're friends?" She asks.

"He's protecting me from your puddin." I begin to walk away. "I suggest you stay away for awhile, I'm sure Waller heard all of that."

I walk out of the alleyway and into the street again. I walk in silence as I think about Harley, she looks good for being in prison for all that time.

I smile as the moon begins to rise in the sky. I might survive all of this after all, especially now that she knows that it wasn't me who betrayed her. I look down and realize I might actually survive because now know that it wasn't me.
