“Yeah, that’d be awesome.”
“Great, come on Olivia; let’s go get your stuff.” Liam says.
“Why can’t I go?” Harry says.
“Because if you two go alone you’ll try something, Harry. Come on, Liv, let’s go.”
“Yes, father.” I say sarcastically.
He turns around and smiles at me. “You’re catching on.” He tells Louis that he’ll call them when we’re done with packing.
I roll my eyes and follow behind him. We reach my room and I remember the picture above my bed that Erin drew and all my One Direction merchandise. Oh dear. Liam opens the door, completely oblivious to the look of horror on my face, and takes a step back. “Wow” is all he says.
“Simon told you I was a fan, right?”
“Well, yeah, but… I didn’t expect this.”
“If I’d known you would be coming I would have… packed some things up.”
“Well,” he said, shaking himself out of a daze, “let’s get packing shall we?”
We end up packing two suitcases, one that I would take with me and another that we would mail home, the latter majorly comprised of my one direction merchandise. Thank goodness, it would have been rather hard to hide all my 1D stuff. A bit like hiding a large pink elephant. I walk down to the postal station near-by and fill out the form they need for an “over sized, unwrapped package” to be shipped. When I come back I see Liam just finishing packing my backpack. He zips it up and hands it to me, taking my suitcase and guitar and walking out the door. I follow him and we wait outside the building for Louis, who Liam had called a few minutes ago.
“You promise you won’t tell the others about my room?” I ask.
“I don’t know that picture of us was pretty good, maybe I should tell them about our little artist.”
“I didn’t even draw that, my friend Erin did. She drew the back of my shirt too.” I turn around and show him the back of my shirt.
He laughs at the message written there. “Nice, you’ve got a talented friend.”
“Hey,” I joke, “What about me?”
“I haven’t actually heard you sing, I’ve only seen the You Tube videos.”
I take the hint. “What do you want me to sing?”
“How about one of our songs?”
“Now you’re just being cruel.”
“I’d start now while you still get to choose the song.”
“Fine.”
I unpack my guitar and start the intro to More Than This. Liam lets a smile creep onto his face and together we start the song.
I’m broken, do you hear me?
I’m blinded, ‘cause you are everything I see,
I’m dancing’ alone, I’m praying,
That your heart will just turn around,
Liam POV: Wow, those You Tube videos have nothing on her. There’s a reason she got so far on x-factor, she’s great. She’s got a tone that is way richer than most 15 year olds and its great singing with her.
And as I walk up to your door,
My head turns to face the floor,
‘Cause I can’t look you in the eyes and say,
