After years of separation, Noodle is reunited with her band members. Facing days of grudges being resolved and a dysfunctional family coming back together, Noodle feels at home and at peace with the world once again. On a sleepless night Noodle decides to venture around this 'Plastic Beach' and soon uncovers a secret she was never supposed to find, a robotic clone of herself.
Disobeying Murdoc's many orders to keep away from it, Noodle makes frequent trips down to the Cyborg's lair, learning that it, or rather she, has a mind of her own. Noodle becomes fascinated by Cyborg, often times spending many hours of her day with her. She felt that in a way, Cyborg filled many emptinesses within her.
