Noodle much enjoyed her sleep, she felt content, but unfortunately she abruptly woke, confused. It was still dark outside, the only light being the small beam of moonlight that intruded through the small skylight window above her bed, the only window in her room. The clock read 3:16 a.m. Noodle groaned and turned back over, recovering herself with the duvet. Sleep would not overcome her, she tossed and turned with no avail.

Tiredly sighing she pushed the covers off and got up out of the warmth of her bed, she was still in the clothes she wore the previous day. She figured to pass the time and ease curiosity that she would explore this vastness of Plastic Beach. She made her way down to the kitchen where Murdoc was still passed out drunk. There were what seemed like an infinite number of doors, hallways, twists and turns. Stairs going both up and down, the place was covered with aquatic decor. Traveling further down into the lower levels there was glass windows that gave a view of the ocean, it was dark so Noodle couldn't see much. The sound of a muffled buzzing caught her ear and she followed it to a steel-plated door, it was heavy when she opened it and it slammed behind her. Noodle fumbled around for a light switch but could not find one so she cautiously made her way towards the sparks in the distance, as she creeped closer she began to notice tentacle like-wires connected to.. what on earth? Noodle felt her heart stop up when her eyes fell upon a some sort of robot, a robot of herself. She was taken aback, her eyes wide and her body shaking. She froze up besides the rising and falling of her chest as she breathed in and out.

Before she knew it her feet were moving like lighting and she stumbled up the stairs quickly heaved the door shut behind her. She leaned with her back against the cool steel of the door and slid down it to take a breather. It was like walking in on a lifeless version of yourself just hanging there, like something out of a bad horror movie. Noodle put her head in her hands and closed her eyes. What was going on?

She got up and made her way to the living room where she angrily shoved Murdoc out of a druken slumber, if Noodle wasn't mad before, she was mad now seeing this wasted mess in a drunk coma. He wouldn't wake, and even if he did Noodle suspected he wouldn't be coherent enough to form a sentence. She really couldn't take it now, she couldn't stop shaking as she ran outside the mansion that was starting to make her sick, she couldn't breath, she collapsed on the sand and rolled to her back. She sprawled out like a starfish and began to cry.
