*Mama Said By Lukas Graham.*
""Its is.." Champ murmured. Aria smiled.
"Yeah, it helps if your scared of too many people."
It was silent among the fields. Nothing is worth trusting if it's quiet.
"Silence is a dead man's worst enemy.." Champ thought. "I'm already dead on the inside. It wouldn't be hard to die physically."
"Don't ever say that." Aria commanded. "Never!"
"What?" Aria's blood was boiling.
"Don't ever say you're dead. It brings back memories."
Then Champ remembered what Aria said. Her Clinic Depression.
He wasn't thinking, really.
"Sorry."
It wasn't long untill the pair starting talking about anything and everything.
"So, Aria, what do you do for a living?" Inquired Champ.
Aria stopped as she flushed red.
"I-I uhh.. I sing.." She responded, twirling a fraction of her hair.
"Really!? Can you sing to me?"
Aria's face was about nine times redder than before.
"I guess so. Okay.. Uhh, yeah." She cleared her throat.
"Mama said it was okay.
Mama said it was quite alright.
Our kinda people had a bed for the night.
And it was okay.
Mama told us we were good kids
And daddy told us never to listen to the ones
Pointing nasty fingers and making fun.
'Cause we were good kids.
I remember asking both my mom and dad why we never traveled to exotic lands.
We only ever really visit friends:
Nothing to tell when the Summer ends.
We never really went buying clothes,
Folks were passing on stuff in plenty loads.
New shoes once a year and then
Out to play ball so we could ruin them.
Mama said that is was okay.
Mama said that it was quite alright.
Our kinda people had a bed for the night
And it was okay.
Mama told us we were good kids.
And Daddy told us never to listen to the ones
Pointing nasty fingers and making fun.
'Cause we were good kids."
Champ started to snap his fingers to the rhythm.
"Don't get me wrong,
I didn't have it bad.
I got enough lovin' from my Mom and Dad.
But I don't think they really understood,
When I said 'I wanted to be in Hollywood.'
I said I would be singing in TV.
The other kids called me a 'Wannabe'..."
Aria stopped singing. Champ was confused.
"Why'd ya stop?" He asked.
Aria titled her head. "The rest doesn't make sense yet."
Champ's head was everywhere.
"Yet?" He questioned.
Aria blushed. "My dream is to sing on TV or- or... y'know, be in a stage... People cheering for me."
Champ nodded.
"I can understand that."
"H-Hey, Champ... Promise me you won't tell anyone."
Champ held out his pinkie.
"I promise, pinkie and all.""
