*Waiting For Love By Avicii.*
"He wasn't prepared at all for this to happen.
He light his cigarette, the smoke fuming as it set-alight.
He sighed. If the wasn't healthy at the moment, what are the chances of him ever being healthy. Very little.
But.. Then again... Just because he had an illness doesn't excuse him from making it worse.
He thought to himself. He grabbed the wheels of his wheelchair and pushed them backwards. He rolled on outside, where he dropped his cigarette. The tyre crushed the descruction of his kind.
He smiled to himself. 'It's been a while.'
From the corner of his eye, the man saw a woman. She was a little chubby- probably the same weight of a female of her age- she had auburn hair, tangled by the wind.
He only had a second to look at her so he didn't really have anything to go off of or know what she was doing this far out from the city.
Suddenly, he remembered something:
'"Okay, Champ. I'm going to sing ya a little something, 'Kay?"
I nodded, eager to hear my father's lyrics.
"Okay, bud...
Where there's a will, there's a way, kinda beautiful.
And every night has it's day, so magical.
And if there's love in this life there's no obstacle that can't be defeated.
For every tyrant,
A tear for the vulnerable.
In every lost soul,
The bones of the miracle.
For every dreamer, a dream.
We're instoppable!
We're something to believe in.
Monday left me broken.
Tuesday, I was through with hoping.
Wednesday, my empty arms were open.
Thursday, waiting for love- waiting for love!
Thank the stars it's Friday!
I'm burning like a fire gone wild on Saturday.
Guess I won't be coming to church on Sunday,
I'll be waiting for love,
Waiting love!
So come around.~"
He stopped as I began to clap.
"Listen, Champion. One day, when your famous and successful, you'll find a true love. Remember me, okay?"
I hugged him as I mumbled into his jacket, "Okay, Papy."'The man looked around. He started to remember his Dad's scruffy voice.
He teared up.
"Hey, it's okay Champ, don't cry. I'm here. You're safe.
You're safe, Champion.""
